I'm trying to reconcile my account but the deposit column is missing. I can see the lines for each deposit but not the amounts. I've looked in the options to see if it can be turned back on but it's not listed as a column to add or remove.
Bank of America accounts data won't update. I've disconnected and reconnected the accounts. There is no problem signing into my bank accounts. This is not a Bank of America problem because my Chase accounts won't update either. Last update on 12/13/2022. Frustrated!!
We get paid by the company we rent our building from for plowing our parking lot on a yearly basis.Since this is not customer related, I created a Word Invoice Template to bill them for it.How do I deposit their check correctly since I cannot bring them up as a customer?
How do I get rid of manual entered transactions that a r a duplicate of a bank feed?
I am using QuickBooks Pro 2021 Desktop on a Windows 11 PC. As an attorney, I establish separate bank accounts for each client that are sub-accounts under the Client Trust Fund account. When I deposit client funds using "Make Deposits" the funds go into the proper sub-account. When I "Print Register" for the entire Client Trust Fund, however, the only thing that shows up is the word "Deposit" in the memo line, not any of the actual memo line information from the deposit, and no indication of which sub-account the funds are in. Is there a way to make the Print Register report show the memo line of what client the funds belong to?Most attorneys are required to do 3-way reconciliation reports, but QB does not seem to have a simple one-click for this in the standard reports. Is this a feature that Intuit can add?
Hi,We have our QBO account linked to the Bank so both debits and credit are automatically created when we run the update. The costs are easy to reconcile but the revenue is complicated. Does anyone know if there is a way to have the link just update transactions that take money out of the account but ignores deposits? I have to delete delete deposits and add them manually to get the detail I am looking for. Trying to save a step.

Trying to navigate the Idiocy of QuickBooks nightmare "Resolution Center". Had all of my deposits held with no notification/emails/phone call and nothing in the resolution center. After getting someone on the phone with limited English skills who I was barely able to understand, found out that they had to update my banking information even though nothing had changed, there was just a brief 24hr. hold I put on the account to investigate an unknown charge. The genius I was talking to, after having to endure 20mins of irrelevant questions finally told me that I needed to update the banking information. But nothing had changed. Then he told me I should use my personal checking account, which anybody would know would not accept a transfer from a business name. Then he said that he had to escalate the case and get a letter from my bank but could not tell me what I needed. Now I have to just sit and wait for them to contact me, of course you can't call them, while my money is trapped in Quick

I have a user that can't seem to remember not to use this feature. Is there a way to prevent it?
Hello experts. I have a large number (but not all) customer invoices that have been paid and have a matching online banking transaction that are still showing in A/R. When I click on the invoice it shows the payment, and that same amount had been reconciled but I did not realize until now that they are not actually matched up, as they are still showing in unreconciled. They appear to be duplicates but when I click on them, the check number that the customer paid with is showing correctly. I dont understand what is happening. I enter the invoice and send to the customer. The customer pays via the quickbooks link. The transaction shows on my accounts. I match the transaction as it seems is the correct way. I have just reconciled for the past year - all with $0 difference but these invoices seem to be counting double in my quickbooks balance, i.e. My quickbooks balance vs my bank balance is overly inflated. how can you edit or delete existing credit card in charts of account?
We use our bank card to make purchases.Our vendors will then refund money back to that bank card for returned items. My bank transactions automatically download to my QB bank feed. How do i properly record that refund to match my bank feed?
I have miscategorized an asset (and its amount) on an invoice that has already been paid and the transaction has been reconciled on our bank account, but will it impact the books? When I originally put in the invoice it had various line items and I need to change two of the line items: an asset account and an expense account. Originally, I mistakenly categorized the asset as Furniture (and it needs to be changed to Computer). The price was also incorrect. Can I change the asset category and amount (- $150.00), and also change a line item for an expense category and amount (+$150.00) without it having an affect on our books? The total amount of all line items would still remain the same as the original amount of the invoice, and we only have one bank account. Thanks for any help you can give me!
