once i've given my bank of america password to QB it doesn't seem to have an option to remove it anywhere that I could find. does anyone know the steps required to unlink a bank, for example if I'm changing to a different brand of bank?
Default in settings is set to have Bank Transfers on but on import it is set to off.

Is there a way to manually fix/change the beginning balance on a bank account to reconcile?My client had some issues with migrating her old bank account to her new bank account. There were some transfers on the old account that were not in the banking/statements that I deleted. However, that increased my beginning balance on the new account because the prior accountant had marked them reconciled apparently (they shouldn't have been).Any idea on how to fix this??
I am still learning how to make the most of QBs. When we started, we put in a "fake" checking balance. Now a year later, we opened a different bank account. I wasn't thinking and never changed the opening balance to move forward. I need to know how to BACKDATE the opening balance so I do not have to re-enter everything from when we opened the new bank account. HELP!!THANK YO
We had CC fraud (yay), and a new card was issued (same account, but new CC number). When this last happened, I don't recall having issues importing the new card transaction list. This time, when I try to import the new card, it's pulling transactions from the previous card and making this a nightmare... This will be the 2nd replacement card for this same account. I can actually still see that very first card (just never deleted it), it just says there's a bank connection issue, since the card is no longer there. What's the proper procedure to import a replacement card into the system without the possibility of duplicate expenses being present..? I checked on some of the other expenses from the last time this happened, since I was worried that last time there were duplicates, but I don't see any. I have to log out of Chrome between each transaction. I always use Chrome. Am not getting a pop-up error, and even added QBOL to my permitted pop-ups just in case.
I have linked the savings and checking accounts at my bank, and I have clicked update, but the bank balances remain $0.00. When I click Link Account, it shows my accounts as linked. When I click the down arrow next to Link Account and select Manage Connections, it shows my bank and my two accounts with the correct bank balances, but this disappears when I go Back to Banking. Any suggestions?

I am new to QB online. I only used desktop before. We are a non profit and mainly process donations.I imported my deposits from the bank and have a $1,000 deposit. I went to categorize it and divide in correctly between all donors. I noticed that on desktop it processed it all in unprocessed funds and the online version makes me pick my bank and does not allow that. That is fine if it all works. I then go to the check register and see my $1000.00 donation but then below it I see all the transactions in the split as different line items and the donation is listed as a payment. So it created a deposit and then deducted each check individually, thus canceling each other out.Bottom line my split deposit is not recording my donations correctly and my bank account is not accurate. What am I doing wrong?
