My customer list requires customer account numbers and the list is very large. I need to import the customer account numbers with each customer. How can this be done?
Anybody know of a way to get mobile deposit check images that are available on my Bank of America account imported into the QBO BOA Banking register? Seems like that would be something that would already be integrated once you setup BOA with QBO? Help. Thx
We have 5 different companies in QB and I accidentally deposited a CC payment to the wrong company and is sitting in unrecognized in the Bank Feeds Center with no customer made to go to. How can I move this to the correct company's unrecognized and match it to the correct Check/customer and reconcile this? I am using QB Desktop 21.
Hello Our bank is making us close our current business bank account and transfer everything to a new one. How should this be handled in QB? Using QuickBooks Desktop Premier Contractor 2020. Do we have to make a new bank account in QB or can I just change the bank account number of our existing account? They have already transferred the balance that was in the old account to the new account. If we make a new bank account in QB, should that be the opening balance?
I did a transfer from one account to another and did not mark it as transfer. Now it is showing up as a deposit on income. The account was reconciled. Is there a way to change the type? I saw a place to do it, but it indicates it may put me out of balance. I only need to change the transaction type from deposit to transfer.
I ACH payment to the vendor by mistake so I cancel the payment. So on my bank statement showed I withdrew that amount and on the deposit showed credit return with the same amount on the same day.Please help me how I can record this?Thank you
My wife, Jean, is the sole member of her LLC and she files an 1120S. The LLC pays her healthcare insurance. I am having trouble with the Balance Sheet reconciliation on the 1120S. Here’s the scenario: • In QuickBooks Online, the Florida Blue premium is a debit to the account, “S-Corp Health Insurance” and Jean’s paycheck (Intuit Payroll) generated a credit to that account. • On Dec 31, 2023, the balance in that account was ($2,307.26) only because the Jan 1, 2024 premium was charged on Dec 31. On Dec 30, the balance was $0.00. • In TurboTax Business, Jean’s total compensation including healthcare (per the instructions) falls on the 1120S, line 7.• S-Corp healthcare insurance per her W-2 is $22,589. This is also included on line 8 per the instructions. So, the same expense is charged twice, making it a nice tax deduction against K-1 twice, though Jean is paying regular income and payroll tax on the benefit.Is this correct so far? • On the 1120 S, the Income Statement
Hi,I have a problem with bank account connection. I connected my Monzo bank account and the data flow seems successful. However, when I connect my Revolut account, although it does not give an error, there is no data flow and it appears as 0. On the Revolut side, the bank seems to be connected to Quickbook, I think the problem is related the QB. I can see the Revolut account in the Chart of Accounts section, but there is no flow. I would be glad if you can help.Thanks
Having the toughest time trying to add downloaded transactions to QB and it has brought my ability to efficiently do accounting to a screeching halt. Most of my bank accounts have the option to import QBO files, when happens without event. However when I try to create payees from the download payees added via the QBO file and press enter, the mac loading wheel just spins for about 90 secs. Processing 600 plus records like this will take forever.Now, I've already tried all of the boiler-plate "fixes" i've seen on the forums (Delete PLIST files, Uninstalling/Reinstalling, Opening sample files, Upgrading (which is grayed out), etc.) Quickbooks seems to have a monopoly on this sector but not a monopoly on how to maintain a consistently working product. I'd upgrade, but in true Intuit fashion, there's no clear cut way to do it or proof that it would even fix my issue. I can't bail at this point because I need to get this accounting up today and I'm several years of data in to Intuit.Any hel
I used to had quickbooks global account but now i shifted to quickbooks US Account& need to transfer all my expenses. I was able to export all my expenses (excel format) but now i need to import it to my US Account
I used the Data Migration Tool this morning and converted one of my QB online files back to desktop; however, my 2nd file says that Intuit will email me once the data has been convereted but I have not received a reply since last Friday. I tried doing it again but no response. I called Intuit and was on the phone for 2 hours today only to hear the tech say that they have 'stopped' converting back to Desktop and referred me to a 3rd party vendor. I showed the tech the email that shows my 1st QB online file successfully converted but no response. Anyone know what is going on?
I am having an issue posting a company credit card payment. We have had the credit card account for a while, but just started synching it with the bank. We use Bill.com for bill payment. We entered the payment due as a bill in Bill.com and paid the CC vendor. Bill.com is synched to QBO. If I look at the QBO Vendor screen, the amount due is listed as a bill with the credit card GL number listed in the category field, and the payment shows up as a bill payment. However, when looking in the Bank Transaction screen, the payment doesn't show up and the QBO balance due isn't reduced. The credit card balance reported by the bank is zero, so I know they got the payment. How do I get the payment to reduce the amount due in the bank transaction screen?
Wells Fargo bank accounts are not synchronizing with QB for reconciling purposes making the reconcile function to be out of order.
Hi,I'm hoping someone has done this before, and I can get an easy way to resolve my issue. I use QuickBooks desktop. My client transfers money from checking to savings to pay his federal and state taxes.I entered all the transfers from checking to savings.I entered all deposits as one lump sum for the month, as an invoice, payment and deposit.When I reconcile I see that each of my transfers are in the deposits and other credits column, along with the one lump sum for the month.I usually select the one lump sum and select the payments and they reconcile.My issue is I still see each transfer in the deposit column after the reconcile. I think I'm duplicating the deposit and funds transfers, because they remain on the books after the reconcile.How do I correct the issue? Thank you so much!
Intuit removed loan manager which has been a critical feature for me for over a decade without warning and that is unacceptable. After being forced to upgrade to a new more expensive annual subscription model brought with it a diminution of features without warning is appaling and I am hoping there is a way to get that feature back with QB2022 as it was in QB2019. Deposits are showing up as sales from my Shopify store, which are not sales from my business. Can I go through and delete them and who do I contact about this problem, so it stops showing in my QuickBooks account?
my transaction are not showing up
They upodated their website last week and the connection stopped working. I have verified the credentials work fine on the website, but the QBO connection will not re-connect no matter what. This appears to be a QBO issue with their online banking website update. How do we get this looked into?
