Why would QB raise the subscription fees at the beginning of the 4th quarter? Why not at the beginning of the new year? $120 a month for three employees is too much! Does anyone have suggestions for a new payroll service?
We do not want to manually enter all transactions because we have years of data that needs to be transferred over.
This is a recent development. They've been showing up, but now are all lumped into just Service or New Construction.
Our Employee Center loads and freezes up constantly. What could be the cause of just this one category having trouble. We have applied all updates to the program as well.
I use QB online and have an employee over 50 years old who wants to contribute the max contribution towards our Simple IRA. Because he is over 50 he can contribute the annual maximum of $14,000 plus a catch up of $3,000 annually. However QB online stopped his contribution at the $14,000. Why is that and how can I change it so he can contribute the catch up contribution also?
I'm not excited about the constant change in QB Online and learned I can migrate back toQB Desktop Pro and KEEP QB Payroll Online. Has anyone done this? If so, I have a few questions, if you don't mind.
I am having a problem with the Washington Cares Act tax not being deducted from 1 of my employees. Everyone else is fine. It's just this one employee. I have deleted it out of the payroll info under other taxes and saved it. Put it back and saved it but it still won't show up under deductions on his paycheck. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help. I use Quickbooks desktop for payroll.

Hello everyone,I am running my payroll summary by class so that when I make a federal deposit I can properly allocate the payment to the correct class. When I run the summary there is no Federal Withholding on the report including no other employee taxes withheld. I have the filters set to include all accounts, all payroll items, all classes and all employees. I am running QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2020. I am including a snip of the report with the accounts that show. I am not sure if this is important but I run the report weekly for federal deposits. Thanks! Michelle
Client no longer wants to track workers comp.All codes were deleted from the WC Code List, except for "exempt" because the program will allow that item to be deleted.All WC codes were deleted from the employee records.Unfortunately, the WC code column still shows up when the client tries to run payroll, and the program keeps asking for a WC code.Is there a way to disable or turn off WC tracking?
I have several employees that are unable to access their workforce accounts. How can I reset them so I can resend them an invitation. It seems once they are signed up there is nothing I can do to help them.
How do I increase the hours worked for an individual employee on in a specific pay period? There's an option to decrease hours but I can't find anyway to increases the hours.
how can i get copies of W-2 and W-3 for 2020
Hi all - I sent payroll through my direct deposit (like I have for years) and today, when I sent it it doesn't show that it sent. It was taken out of my QB business account, but it still shows I have 23 checks to send. I hit send again, it looks like it always does, and then it still shows I had 23 checks to send. I've updated everything, closed and reopened QB, I don't know what to do next. Anyone experience this? Thanks, Melissa
Just trying to get out in front of a potential issue. I am the IT support for our company, and help out with our QB installation. last week I did a network update and changed around the IP schemes (it was previously a range on 192.168.99 and it is now on a 5.5.5.5 range) I am out of the office today and getting a lot of people including myself unable to access workforce site, with the error “your employer has adjusted your access reach out to them to regain access” I also realized I have not received my usual “your paystub is now available” email would a network change have affected anything (or has our system broken somehow??
We are starting a new company file to streamline activity and get rid of many redundant items in inventory. How do I add the payroll history to the employee's file? Also, The vacation/sick table needs to be changed. It says 2017 and I need to update it to 2023
2 things, not sure if they are related.... 1. When I get payroll updates, it states I have retrieved the latest payroll update & validated my subscription then tells me to go online again before 09/11/2023 today is 9/18/2023. Also give me PS038 at the end of the message. 2. I cannot get access to Workforce as the admin. I have a new employee whom is in the system. She would like to have access to her paystub and QB will not allow me in. My gut is telling me these things are related?
