it does not give me the option to add prior payoll or payroll history
Can I edit the pay date on a payroll check after it has been "processed"? Checks are still hand written so this is just a clerical issue.
The program used to generate a quarterly line by employees for salaries
I recorded accrued payroll every month by passing a journal entry at the end and then reversing it at the start of next month but the balance sheet amounts monthly on Accrued payroll are not same. Any idea what can be the issue. The picture is attached
I prepare payroll for a company who has closed their doors in June. How do i file a final form 940 when the available version is still only 2023?And same for W2 forms? I am reading that you must send those out by the due date of the final quarterly report, but how does one do this when the 2024 version of a W4 is not available anywhere? Ami
After putting in my states (KY) EIN number to set up payroll, it gives me this message "Enter a valid Employer Identification Number (KEIN)".
Hi,I have an employee that received a bonus and wanted all his bonus to go to his IRA contribution. The IRA is tax deferred but QB still paid SS and Medicare. Is that correct?
These hours are not used for payroll, but rather we keep track of how many hours they are on customer's sites to know how much that customer "costs."
I am selling an inventory product by creating a payment link to be able to use multiple times from my website or from social media. I want to be able to have QuickBooks add the shipping and taxes so that the client can pay for that when they choose to purchase the item. How do I do this. So far the payment is only showing for the item but does not have a place to add shipping or tax fee from the clients end
i need quickbooks not to efile or epay my state
We use QB Online Payroll and need to generate a history by employee showing starting pay and date as well as each raise and date (and reasons), and bonuses. The data is all there, but we have to sift for it by hand. Is there a report that can give us this?
Is there a way to clear the error that Form 941 tax is greater than $2500 and not paid? QB will not allow us to submit Form 941 electronically because of this error.Do we have to mail the return? We are using 2023 QB desktop plus. It is updated through today. Thank you.
Payroll not starting the paycheck process
Direct deposit fees for desktop pro 2024 enhanced payroll accountants cost? Should be free with the doubled price of the enhanced Payroll, nothing so enhanced for the double in price.
When I go to 'pay employees' and check off an active employee, open the paycheck detail and everything is blank in there. I can not edit any of the fields. Can anyone help?
We initiated SUI payment on 11/20/23.. they debited our account that day and still to this day never have paid it or refunded us. We have since then paid. I have submitted support tickets and can't get help. You call in and you can't speak to anyone directly. Any idea of what I should try to do next?
How do I request a refund for dissatisfied performance of Live Bookkeeper Cleanup?
I am a company of one, I am my only employee. Florida's reemployment tax rate is 0.1% per employee (it's the minimum rate because I have reported on time for the last 10 quarters) UP TO $7,000. This is $7 of tax owed each year, which I pay at the beginning of the year. QB incorrectly has my auto-pay of this tax at $420. I have called them to tell them of this error and they will not change it. I've attached the information from FL's Department of Revenue website that even shows this. So now I am going to be forced to stop the auto-pay of my taxes so they don't take this from my account unnecessarily. QB should be able to change this manually and they won't. QB - please do something about this.
