Can you guide me about the steps required to enable tax code change notices in QB advanced/ bureau payroll. I am unable to find notifications on QuickBooks when tax code changes for employees.

We have just been moved to core payroll today. I had some notes attached to the original payroll which are important. They are nowhere to be found. I have the payslips, P60s, reports etc. but there are no employee notes.Where are they?
how do you do 53 week pay in 2024
I put a start date of Feb 2024 but it is suppose to be from 15 Apr 2024. It is asking me to run final payroll and submit, but I have no employees before 15 Apr. What can I do here?
Hello, I noticed recently that I should not have been using the standard 0.1207 rate for hours per hour worked as we believe this is a rate for "irregular" hours. Therefore we needed to put this back to the rate that Quickbooks says is the default (0.1078). I have updated this in the leave allowance templates, however when I check the leave balance for the employee it doesn't seem to have changed and so I am wondering if this rate will now only apply from when I made the change? Or, will this sort itself out on the next hours worked/payroll run/something else? Thank youAndrew
Hi, Can anyone help me please. The layout / screens to run the payroll seem to have changed in the last month and whereas previously when processing the payroll it gave the option to email payslips to employees this has disappeared and I can't see anywhere within the payroll section to do this now. Please can someone tell me where I can find this? Also the notes that I had previously made under a particular employee have disappeared, how do I get these back? I've tried a different browser and cleared the cache etc.. that a previous use suggested but this has made no difference. I've contacted webchat but that was so frustrating as it takes 4 minutes to get a reply from the adviser everytime and what I think is a simple question i.e. where is the option to email a payslip gone, they can't answer. Thank you to anyone that may be able to provide some help

Take a look and try again.There are no more employees in the account.What is the error related to?I don't have any inactive users.I checked my insurance number with HMRC and it works. It also worked all this time in XERO until yesterday. I did a data transfer from Xero to Quickbooks and it is in Quickbooks that it does not work. Do you have it synchronised with HMRC? Are you sure my number is invalid?

I requested to downgrade my QB Payroll plan in May. I completed the forms but was advised weeks later due to technical issues this wasn't possible. Have the problems been fixed yet?
How do you record expenses
This doesn't really have any impact on me (or atleast not that I am aware of yet) but just looking at a downloaded PDF of the P11 report and I think there may be an error in the totals table. On the "Taxable Pay To Date" column, the Totals row at the bottom is adding this up, but this doesn't really make any sense since this column is intended to be cumulative. Of course, if this is expected or there is a purpose behind it, I would be grateful if someone could explain. As I say, this might not have any effect on anything else, but just thought I would call this out for review. ThanksAndrew
HiWhen I log into my cancelled QBO company (cancelled on 2/4/2024) it says that I have Read-only access to Core Payroll until 2/5/2025. But there is no accessible data!I could re-subscribe to Core Payroll but I'm not sure that would give me access, and I'd be charged a considerable amount just to try it.In any case it says I should have access!! Hi,I'm trying to set up a new employee in Quickbooks and receiving the message "Since this employee’s start date is after the current tax year, please wait to add them to your payroll until after you run your final payroll for the year."My tax year is 31 December and the start date was 1 October 2024. I've tried earlier and later start dates as a test but I still get the same message! Any ideas?Thanks
