Where is the help??????
We are still using a perpetual licence version of Quickbooks Pro 2016. This is pre-online, and is perfectly adequate for our book-keeping and reporting needs. I've just launched it and received a warning that at the end of the month it will stop working, and I need to move to the online version or find another solution. The core question is: is this actually true? Can Intuit actually disable our bought-and-paid-for legacy version of QB which utilises no online services, in an attempt to strong-arm us to a subscription model that we neither want or need? If it is true, I have some choice words for Intuit, none of them polite. And I can categorically assure you that we will not be subscribing to the online service as it is chronically over-priced and under-performing for our requirements, and I have no faith in the migration process.

We have been using the Search facility quite happily for nearly a year, but today it is not showing anything. Occasionally something appears, but then immediately disappears.

Hi All Is the update below correct? Does this mean we can continue to use our QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2021 software post the end of May 2023 or June 2023 depending on which update you look at? If this is the case, can anyone explain what is classed as an "add on service"? Will we still be able to pay VAT? We don't use the payroll function so that should not be an issue. We have a test migration running on QuickBooks online and the amount of functionality that has been removed makes this option totally unworkable for us. It's so unbelievably bad that I would be laughing if wasn't so desperate to find an alternative solution. Why on earth would you scrap such a great software package when there is no directly comparable product available in the market?! It makes absolutely no business sense at all! As a business, I amend invoices throughout the month as the invoices go through stages before being finalised. However, I also have an invoice finance facility and these invoices are being funded in error as they shouldn’t be funded until I have been able to finalise them. How would I go about being able to amend invoices as I go through the month without them being pulled through as finalised invoices? Would it be best to create them as estimates?
I use QB self employed on my phone. I have searched everywhere and can't find a solution to customising the standard email message QB use when emailing an invoice. I have tried desktop as well with no success. Every time i send an invoice i have to manually change the bland QB default message. Would I be correct in thinking the self employed version is too basic to have this option?
Hi. I have an accountant who looks over my book keeping in order to make sure I am putting things in the correct areas and splitting home office and main office details. I am unable to find a way to add an accountant in the UK version. It says in the community posts it can be done on the Us version but not the UK. Surely this is a needed feature so our accountants can also get access when needed rather than having to share our username and password with them. Regards, Lee

I used to be able to tab forward to start a new line item while invoicing. Now today I go to begin on my pile of multiple 100+ line item bills, and when I tab forward at the end of one line to begin another it instead jumps to the "add lines" "clear all lines" "add subtotal" boxes, forcing me to have to use my mouse to click into a new line item each and every time. I honestly might lose my mind if they cant fix this. What is going on? I have signed in and out and refreshed and even restarted my computer and it keeps doing it, so this has to be something they updated. Please send help
