Hello, How do I show HST rebate from a new vehicle purchased. My accontant said just deducted from your monthly payments to Revenue Canada. But how do I show that in Quick books
I have QuickBooks Self-Employed,I work away from home and will be giving access to my accountant. Can I create a separate login for my accountant, or do I just give him mine?

I am currently filing tax return, however, when i click on the View Summary under Prepare Return from the Tax Tab, the Big Note 504 Gateway Timeout shows. I tried many times, i could not view our summary of the tax return.Could you please let me know why? Thanks,Ada
I have a client that is converting from Sage to QB Desktop this current year. They have encountered a couple of set-up issues that I am trying to resolve for them. (1) First question - the GST collected and the GST paid appear to post to the same G/L account. Under Sage, GST collected was posted to a separate G/L account than the GST paid. Is this possible in QB Desktop? (2) For purchase transactions, where some items are taxable and others not, how and which screens are needed so that the proper prompts pop up for each purchase? My client may have inadvertently set up this up incorrectly as it appears to currently be a choice between all taxable or all non-taxable.
I have integrated Quickbooks in our iOS app and wanted to change the language according to our app language. How to do that? What do I need to pass as arguments while authorizing? "accounts.intuit.com" working fine when changing locale=fr while authenticating in arguments of url but when I do the same thing for "appcenter.intuit.com" it doesn't work. Does anyone have any idea on how to change the language from English to French and vice-versa?

I am the treasurer of our church. Our auditor wants me to record HST as follows:Expense is $100. HST is $13. Total cost is $113.He wants me to do this: expense is $100, hst is $13.HST rebate is $9.06 therefore actual cost is $103.94.This seems weird to me as I feel the expense is $100, HST exoense is $13. HST rebate is $9.06, so net HST is 3.94.To my mind, the HST should be recorded in an HST expense account and rebate in an HST rebate account. What is the correct way of handling this.
Trying to import an iif file for an invoice. I originally had some errors turn up in the file which I have resolved, now I just keep getting "We weren't able to import now. Try again later." Any idea what that means? Have tried multiple times, closed QB and reopened
Most of our customers are outside of Canada and the current QBO does not seem to support a a Country field. Is this a planned feature for the future? Right now we have to edit each PDF estimate or invoice manually outside of QBO to get our full address right. Any suggestions?

Dear Support: My company uses Quickbooks Online. From reading other people Q&A on this fiscal year end, can you please confirm my understanding as follows are correct?1. By changing the fiscal year from December to January, I goes to Account & Settings/Advance and change the "First Month of Fiscal Year" to February.2. I keep the "First Month of Income Tax Year" to "Same as Fiscal Year". 3. When I run a Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and Income Statement, I will use "Custom" under Report Period to select the periods.4. When I run the Trial Balance and Balance Sheet using "Custom" under Report Period as stated in #3 above, the retained earnings on the Balance Sheet will be updated by Quickbooks Online correctly. 5. I already closed Oct-19 books, I can change the "First Month of Fiscal Year" to February. I don't need to wait till I close Jan-20 books.
Hi There, I have QB 2013 installed on my desktop. Today it asked me to update the software. After updating the software, it did restart the PC. And when I tried to use it, I found out that the key board shortcuts for copy,past,cut, undo etc. are not working. First I thought its because of a keyboard. After changes keyboard the issue is still alive. Since, we use the QB on multi user mode, I checked out on other user's PC and it working there. Is there any setting I have to enable, or what?Please help me put with this.Thank you!
