Occasionally I am getting the following message. "We can’t reach this customer. Please verify the email address with your customer or use a different email." No matter what I do at this point, even deleting the addresses and typing them back in, the invoice will not send. This issue is sporadic and only started happening in the last couple of months.

Hi there. We recently migrated from Quickbooks Desktop to Online.  In Desktop there was a home currency adjustment process that we would run at year end to adjust two of our foreign currency bank accounts to the revalued USD balance for the balance sheet with the resulting foreign currency gain/ loss to the Profit & Loss statement.  Upon conversion these year end adjustment entries did not properly migrate to QBO.   They are now showing as unreconciled items in our bank reconciliation and the incorrect balances are appearing in our chart of accounts and balance sheet.  I've been told by the QBO support desk that QB Desktop and QBO are different products and processes and these amounts can only be deleted or journalled out.   To delete them will result in a prior period adjustment, which we don't want.   To journal them out will create an adjustment in the current year, which is not ideal but might be our only option.  However,

I am currently running Intel Chip on MacBook Hosting Windows 10 on Parallels running Quickbooks  Desktop 2022. As we all know, technology changes and equipment ages. The next Gen to purchase will be this setup Macbook Apple M2 Pro Chipset as the Host of Windows 11 on Parallels and running Quickbooks Desktop 2023. Parallels will run Windows 11 on Apple Silicon M2 Pro Chip, but will it run Quickbooks Desktop 2023. Anyone know if Quickbooks Desktop 2023 will work on this Apple Chipset?

can I copy and paste a new role to another company?

im currently about 12 months into reconciling and my beginning balance is off from what my bank statement says. just for this month its off. last month was perfect. Quickbook created another reconciliation in 10/31/23 and is saying this was the last reconciliation but it was and the amount on that reconciliation was deleted and its the same amount that my current beginning balance is off. How can this be fixed?

Have reapplied as often as I can. Tried using Square as 3rd party option, it seems to add an extra step for something that should be included with the service I am paying for. I have several peers in the industry, same everything. They are able to process CC's. This is affecting business.... Pls Help....

I have resisted upgrading my MAC specifically because I was told Sonoma would not work with my Quickbooks Desktop 2020. Somehow my MAC upgraded to Sonoma today. I use everything manually with my quickbooks version. I do not connect online to the bank, or payroll nor do my customers pay me through Quickbooks. Does anyone know what functionality I will lose?

Hi- I have an old MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016 with MacOS High Sierra 10.3.6) that has Quickbooks 2016 for Mac. In my Quickbooks 2016 for Mac the extension of my company Quickbooks files are .qb2016. I am in the process of buying a new 2023 MacBook Pro (16" Laptop - M3 Pro chip, with Sonoma (assuming) and am trying to find the best way to transfer my current Quickbooks 2016 for Mac and .qb2016 files to my new computer so QB still works. I would also like to possibly buy the QuickBooks Desktop Mac Plus ) https://quickbooks.intuit.com/email/final-desktop-plus-sale/ ) to install on my new 2023 MacBook Pro instead of using the online version of Quickbooks - Can I do this as an owner of Quickbooks 2016 for Mac. (Not sure if I am an existing subscriber?) Or is there a cheaper QB version that will work for purchase like Quickbooks 2023 for Mac for desktop.  I really just need accounting features (we don't use QB for payroll, pay credit cards, send payments or print checks).&

Hi I would like to find out why the Subscription fees went up yet again. The fees have increased so much this year that i have clients that are so super unhappy with Quickbooks.  Intuit doesn't seem to care about Accountants/Bookkeepers anymore and they don't care that we are the ones that bring them free business and don't get any discounts on fees anymore. We are expected to collect fees from our clients through Accountant billing but we can't even charge them extra for the bookkeeping part of it because your fees are so high already.  I really wish Quickbooks would stop increasing the fees causing the product to be unaffordable to many of my clients.thanks 

Is it possible to have the tags split the charges as well? I have a hotel charge that had food on it, but one account 'travel expense' to code both lines to. So I split the charge and put (2) tags - lodging & food. But when I run a report, the entire amount is under lodging. I know I can create a subaccount to split the charge to instead, but I want to avoid adding multiple subaccounts to be able to see the $$ breakdown. Thanks!

I started using Quickbooks about a month ago and am surprised how poor the product and service is. I invoiced a client through QB for a monthly retainer fee which was sent to QB over two weeks ago, but they can't seem to figure out how to get the money to me, their client. Like QB is just holding the money and offering zero solutions for actually retrieving it. Customer service representatives don't seem to be able to do anything except "make a note about that" and promise callbacks and resolutions that never happen. I think I've reached the point where keeping my own accounting records and making invoices would be less work without QB and I'm done wasting money on the service, so I'll be cancelling my subscription. Kinda shocking for such a longstanding company, but these days companies don't seem to care about their customers' experience, just extracting as much as possible from them.

I buy cases of product which I inventory. Invoiced in cases. 40 units in case. I sell in units and get paid by unit. Is there a way to manage inventory/sales in QBDT?

A duplicate refund was accidentally sent to a customer by e-transfer. The duplicate e-transfer was cancelled and the funds were returned to our bank account but now the two e-transfer transactions appear on two different bank statements because the transactions occurred in different months. How do I record these transactions in QBO?

I even tried to refresh the page and then save&close but it still warns me that I'm leaving without saving.
