Is there a way to turn off auto population when entering part numbers? We carry multiple versions of a specific product and would like it to default on what is typed and not autofill to another version of that number. Example: 123 - Typed123assy- Auto Default.123assy4

We just started getting 0xc0000139 two weeks ago on windows 11 fully updated on 23h2 and qb pro 2023 desktop version. Found out that when Quickbooks is open at the login for the company, while then trying to open a pdf press ctrl P we will get the error 0xc0000139. Once we login into Quickbooks company we can open pdfs in adobe acrobat and ctrl p works without any errors.
when emailing from QB our inv, SO and Est are very faded in their pdf form. We can't seem to fix it. Help
I have all of my passwords saved in a safe location and, for some reason, my Quickbooks Community password is not working and I cannot find a way to access or change it. I keep having to log in with a code texted to my phone. How can I fix this?Thank You
Buen día Tengo una duda ya concilie el mes de enero de la tarjeta de credito viculada a QBO esta un saldo final de $18,388.66 cuando me voy al balance general en el area de los pasivos y busco la tarjeta de credito veo que aparece con un saldo de $18,903.75, al desplegar veo que toma en cuenta transacciones que si bien son de enero pero para la conciliación no se tomaron en cuenta porque se tomaran para febrero por la fecha de corte del banco. Que se puede hacer ante esta disparidad de saldos?
This post is coming from an auditor's view point when using the audit trail. I came across this flaw after spending several hours searching for an invoice adjusted by the client that was tossing out retained earnings. The audit trail has no way to filter for what was previous in another year and been edited into a current year.The issue has arose when a client adjusted (edited and not deleted) an invoice that was in the 2017 Dec year end to March 2018. This tossed out retained earnings. So, after spending several hours tracking down this edit and chasing a couple of red herrings, I realized in Sage50, I would have just tossed on "Show Corrections" and the "Audit Trail" they have there is a journal entry made for every change, so I could have seen at the bottom of their General Ledger a reversing entry for this invoice and to whom. This type of function does not seem to exist in QBO. In QBO if they adjust the invoice date to the new year there is no "This was th

I have QuickBooks Desktop 2016.I have bought Saasnet Desktop version to import and export my transactions. I have a September backup and a December backup file. My accountant has done alot of backdated entries in October and November, which are hitting the periods to September. I am now restored the September backup, export all transactions and lists from the month of October and November via saasnet. And started importing them one by one via saasnet as well. I have been successful in importing most of the GL transactions types except 'Deposits'. I am getting the following error on Deposits:"There is an invalid reference to QuickBooks Account "670000-1029377429" in the Deposit line.. QuickBooks error message: Only QuickBooks can make deposits from Undeposited Funds." I can see, when I imported the Journal entries that there is a deposit in my undeposited but its not being cleared to my bank account has I can't import the Deposit file due to the above error. My computer crashed and I am trying to restore my information in the point of sale version 18. It keeps giving me an error about needing software update. I don’t want have version 19 and am only using this to have records of past customer transactions and information.
We currently have QBD with Corrigo's Field Service Management and plan to migrate to QBO. There is a guide for the FSM side of things that include making all items on the item list inactive in QB prior to the final sync of the two programs before migration. There is no instruction for what to do after that migration. Are we manually making all the items active again? I have attached the instructions for reference. It is important we avoid any down time so we need our ducks in a row prior to this switch.
I have expense receipts that I need to categorize on the chart of accounts, however, we are a non-profit club/group with volunteer board members (I'm the volun-told treasurer). One of the board members paid for items using a personal card for an event. I am worried about categorizing receipts, but also sending her a reimbursement and having a "double dip" expense when I run the statement of financial position. How would I process this? Our QB POS system is not syncing with our QB desktop. Specifically with the items. For example, if we have an item in POS, we have it mapped to a certain income, COGS, and asset account. However, this mapping is not being accurately pulled over to QB desktop. We don't want to update each item individually in QB desktop. How do we fix this mapping and have it pulled over correctly?

I recently converted from Enterprise 24.0 to Online and have found some glaring issues. I cannot enter sales orders or invoices as I did in Enterprise or Receive Items and Enter Bills from vendors as I did in Enterprise. I have been told the best thing to do is use a third party app that will create a similar appearance to enterprise until the software engineers at Intuit come up with a suitable update.Not happy abouot this but I really want to utilize online vs. working remotely when I travel. any recommendations for the best apps?Thanks

Since the rolling update of R9_127, users with limited permissions are now prompted to reach out to their administrator for access to posting credits to vendors\bills. They are being told they "need edit access under Invoice to perform this action". Is this change to permission requirements permanent or is this a bug that that is being worked on?
