Hello all! I run a small marketing agency, and I'm trying to get better insight into our cash flow projections for the next 6-12 months by using the Cash Flow Planner feature. I've struggled to find helpful documentation on Cash Flow Planner in Quickbooks Online, so I figured I'd reach out and see if anyone had insight or experience. We have quite a few recurring bills - I would say 85% or more. From the monthly benefits, to software subscriptions, to rent - most of our billing is monthly and predictable. I pay the majority of bills using my credit card (minus health benefits, rent, and other similar expenses). To make the Cash Flow Planner easier to use, I've spent a lot of time adding all my bills as recurring templates. This has made categorizing transactions in the Banking tab a breeze! A client of mine has QB Enterprise that integrates with other software. Sometimes the system forgets about the integration and you have to sign in in single user mode to re-enable it. Problem is if someone has a report open and they made any changes to it switching to single user cannot forcibly log them off. It will sit there with a message on their screen asking "do you want to save changes you made". So if that user happens to be away from their desk it will just sit there. The only way around it I have found is to logon to the database server and stop and restart the database service. Which accomplishes the purpose, just can't be the best thing to do. Has anyone seen this, is there some setting I can change or a workaround?
Hi all, We've just started using Quickbooks Online's Budget feature. However, we're trying to add our beginning bank balance for the year so we can see the budget predicted out for the year including the actual cash at end of month. Right now it shows us our net income, as if our bank balance were at zero. Has anyone figured out how to do this? Am I better off using Cash Flow Planner, or will I just have to export and insert my beginning bank balance to check my budget against my cash flow? Any solutions are appreciated.
QBO app on andriod wont let me use the app. I sign in and it tells me "for the job im doing use the web browser" but using the browser on phone is to diffucult for writing bills and navigating the account. How can we resolve this so my company andriod users can use the app and write bills on the app. This has created undue stress on other staff as they must write bills outside of normal operating hours while communicating with the employee who was unable to use the app.

Why did QB change it and make it so you can not edit details? I made an entry error and now can not edit it so it will screw up my reports. Has got to be one of the dumbest decisions for them to do
Hello! We run QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Retail on Desktop. We have about 5,000 items for which we need to change only our Cost, Price and List Price values. We have a third-party import solution that, while it has worked well in the past, is throwing errors and while we have been working with that utility vendor's tech support, that process is taking too much time and it's important that I get these changes made ASAP. I have already attempted to accomplish this process using the native QB via File>Utilities>Import>IFF Files path where I downloaded a full IFF item file, made the necessary changes only to those values, and uploaded the new IFF file, but the results were not good (the pre-existing values in other pre-existing fields in which no changes were made were wiped out entirely, etc.). So I rolled back to my backup and need to start again some other way. Is there another way I can update the values on these three fields for these 5,000 Ite

Using QBD2023, Win11. Trying to use QB Statement Writer, but keep getting the an error message in Excel, image attached. HAve uninstalled, and reinstalled QB, have tried the nine or so solutions already listed in the QB help logs to no avail. Anyone have a working solution out there?

My business computer crashed. I have been using Intuit Data Protection to back up my computer, so hopefully can transfer everything to the new computer. However, I can't figure out how to download or activate it on the new computer, so that I can find my backup files. I can log into my IDP account, but don't see anyway to download it to to the new computer.
Hello, I'm having an issue migrating my attached receipts to my existing transactions on the 2023 Quickbooks Desktop Premier file to the 2024 Quickbooks Desktop Premier. When I open the new 2024 file, the transition is seamless with all the data, but when I go into the transaction and try to view the attached receipts, they are not viewable, and I get an error code that says, "Failed to open the file." Can we migrate all the transactions with receipts attached without having to attach all the receipts manually from the last two years?
is there any good tool to allow me to copy/move my existing Quicken data into QuickBooks and have it even close to usable? I have decades worth of data in Quicken, from close to 50 different accounts and thousands of transfers between these accounts. The help file says to simply export from quicken to a csv file, then import that into QuickBooks Online, the last time i tried that it was a disaster of unusable data, so i just deleted it and stuck with Quicken. I can't do it anymore. I have to get this data into QuickBooks. Please tell me there is hope for me to keep this to less than a 10 hour project. Thanks
I have 6 transactions that have all been categorized from the banking tab. When I try to reconcile the statement none of them are showing up. One that was put to undeposited funds and I changed to the correct account but it still does not show up. When I look at the transaction journals they are all in the correct accounts except the one that I corrected. It still shows undeposited even after correcting.
