Hello We had created an invoice template to include rate of exchange from Dollars to Sterling , we produced several invoices I since and it printed them with the rate of exchange . Today I added a sterling bank account and saved the new style template as default. However it does print the invoice with the rate of exchange.Is there a reason for this please.Many ThanksCaroline

I charge my clients monthly. All services provided for the month is invoiced on first day of the following month. Naturally, by the time I generate the invoice its the following month. Moreover, payments are also made the following month. Naturally, this gets recorded under monthly income for the previous month which isn't accurate. This in turn mucks up my BAS lodgement as the monthly income is not accurate. Any suggestions and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I have quick books simple start and wanting to get Signatures on invoices and estimates. I have saved the invoice and then click more and there is no options. Per the plans Simple start is suppose to have this feature with the mobile app
I have QuickBooks 2019 Premier Desktop. Every time I try to backup QuickBooks, I receive error code 110 and error code 189. They are related to a payroll check that was written in 2009!! Any suggestions on how to correct these codes?
Using Enterprise Desktop. Among other issues with with the update, the biggest one is that, on the Sales Order screen, any entered data in a custom filed is deleted when changing between templates. Is there a work-around for this, or am I able to revert to a previous update to reestablish this important functionality?
We have one customer that wants new invoices only sent to a certain email. They want reminders sent to a different email. We do not want to turn off Reminders for all customers. Any options?
After updating the new Apple Sonoma, QBO will not print invoices or receipts. I cleared my cache and reinstalled my printer. I can print just about anything else outside of QBO, but I cannot print on QBO. Is this something we need to wait on QBO to fix?
I have a student who can't log out of the Test Drive (Craig's Design and Landscaping). She clicks the circle in the top right and her entire screen goes dark. She has tried on both her phone and laptop, using Chrome and Firefox. Without logging out of the test drive she can not log into her own company for the class. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Attached is a screenshot of her getting very frustrated and her darkened screen after clicking the blue circle that would normally open the sign out box.Thanks in advance! S. Niedziocha
I am not able to email (directly from QBO) those invoices that are from a closed period. I have to "print" them as a PDF and attach them to an external email message. Is there a setting or permission that is needed?
Experiencing this issue for the first time. I am entering a bill but the amount does not show up on the expenses line. If I uncheck the Bill Received checkbox, then check it again, the amount will now show up under expenses. This has become a tedious process to uncheck and re-check the box for each bill I am entering, and I still have around 50 more to enter. Any help would be appreciated. I use Desktop Enterprise 2023.
QuickBooks suddenly won't let me open up my other company file.

Hey,I am running a construction company with an inventory system. As you know, construction company sometimes charge a flat amount for the job. Lets say $1000. So as usually I create an invoice of $1000 for the job. Then we need to send out materials for the job so it is another invoice for inventory. Lets say that invoice will be $100. Then there is a problem because the job invoice will be $1100 instead of $1000. And the materials sent out will not be count as job costing, which should be account payable. Can someone help me solve this problem where I can still send invoices for job for collecting payment and invoices for material for tracking job cost?
Credit Card Processing Errors does not work in Chrome. The buttons do not work, when the box is checked and "Try again" is clicked, the timer goes but nothing happens. I had to use Edge to access this page.
I have a sales order template that has a set message print on all sales orders, its our standard returns policy that prints inside the body of the template towards the bottom of the line items. I currently have a 2 page sales order and the "return message" is jumbled in with my sales line items on the first page making it impossible to read. The "return message" also appears on page 2 of the sales order in the correct legible form. How do i remove the message from page one so it doesnt interfere with my sales order line items?
Recently I have been repeatedly getting this message box titled "Action required to file payroll forms". The body of the message references Washington state tax law, which makes the message box irrelevant to me, because I am not/do not do business in Washington state. But even after clicking "Update", the message box still appears when I sign in to QB. How do I make this message stop appearing?
I am the network Admin for a small company . We have multiple company files running on a server dedicated to quickbooks and nothing else . Lets call it company A .. company A has a 12 user license and 4 company files on the server . I have been tasked with Adding a new company file for the owners daughters company .lets call her company Z . She had up until now been working from home and no one had access to her Quickbooks file as no one needed it . She has her own License for quickbooks with 3 users . She wants to maintain her own license software and always be able to go back to working at home should her push to expand fail . For now she only wants herself , her sister and the company book keeper to have access to her file which i can control no problem by controlling the shared folder Rights . my question is Does the file need to be opened with her LIC number ? will the file change at all if we opened it with the same softwar
Does anyone have any best practices to share when dealing with your monthly health insurance bill? Our bill is for the month that just started. I have to pay by the 5th of the month, but we have not taken any deductions or made any contributions for this month yet. When I go to pay my liability check in QB it never matches the billed amount. I always have to add an additional amount to match the billed amount. My problem is I do not know where to add it (Health co paid, health employee paid, vision or dental). Our bill does not break out the employee portion vs the company portion.I have checked my math over and over again, and the yearly totals will eventually match up.Do most people make a journal entry at the end of the year to show how much was paid in each category? Or does anyone have a better way to track this monthly?
Honestly I don’t know what to even do. Been using pos for 16 years and now for them to say in 6 months all services are ending and I have to switch pos. The mess this is going to cause and hours of time is going to be crazy. But what really makes me mad is they just made me upgrade to v19 and purchase an additional license last year for an extra register. Then made me pay thousands to use webgility and now they are closing it all down. Seemed like a money grab the past few years to force everyone to update and then close down .
