A question that must occur repeatedly but for which the online help information is wrong. We need to update 500+ recurring monthly invoices to reflect new prices for defined products and services. The invoices do not appear to pick up the changed prices automatically. The (US) help information (dated July 2023) instructs one to tick a box telling the system to update recurring invoices when using the process to update product prices in Products/Services. An entirely understandable method. But ... there is no such box. Then, it says that if you update one of the recurring invoices the box should appear in the update product price page to update all of the other invoices. Wrong again! No such box appears.Since the help information is useless, does anyone know how a large number of recurring invoice templates can be updated automatically? This is for QuickBook Online.
When I edit the invoice number from quick books suggestion I am unable to save a draft or preview it. This has been happening for weeks. when I try to save draft I get this error message ERROR returned by service callcreatelnvoice(_:completion:)status=BadRequest; statusCode=400when I try to preview I get a never ending spinning wheel of death. Very frustrating.
We have been switched to auto-payroll this month and I can't seem to turn it off (I've found the instructions but the auto-payroll option does not appear in my settings). The only employees are both directors and aren't necessarily paud the same amount each month (or even necessarily paid each month) how can I disable it?
My widgets are driving me nuts.I want them to show me data on quarters for the financial year, NOT the calendar year.I'm in Australia - the first quarter of the financial year is Jul - Sep. I ask to see data for "this quarter" and it calls this quarter Q3. It should be Q1. Frustratingly, every so often in the drop down menu I get the options to choose "this fiscal quarter" or "last fiscal quarter", but most of the time those options are not there. How can I set these widgets to always show me fiscal year options?

Under add tax - Would I add:Swiss VAT 8.1% (Group Rate?)UK VAT 20% (Group Rate?)France VAT 20% (Group Rate?)OSS VAT ((Group Rate?) - with all the different VAT rates for individual countries? Uf yes, how do I manage this on booking my income and expenses?And how do I pull the separate rates into a VAT return for each specific region?Would the Shopify and Quickbooks Integration help with this? I have seen the Connector suggested to get the SS details into QBO but I cannot see if this will account for the fees charged by Stripe for each transaction and how I can then match up transactions with the Stripe payout.
Why, when viewing Tax summary page and clicking on the 'other business expenses' figures, the report shows the same list of records, regardless of whether you choose the 'allowed' or the 'disallowed' expenses. Surely if there is a figure quoted on the 'disallowed' list, that clicking on that total should then show only the items that are disallowed, which should calculate to the total shown on the summary page?? Feel this is a bug or if not then a relatively useless feature for analysis purposes!
I have a VAT Rate with Tax Name 'TEST', 20%, Expense Account, Net Value of Purchase, rate is active. None of the transactions using this rate appear in BOX 4 on VAT 100 summary. Instead, they appear in Profit & Loss under HM Rev & Customs (VAT) Expense?
I am trading as a sole trader (Accountancy Practice) using Quickbooks Online but when I try to generate the Accounts via workpapers it will only give me the option of Ltd Company Accounts FRS 105Same for my clients tooIs there anyway to alter this ? Not everyone is a Ltd Company How will this work under MTD for ITSA
