I need to record the amount of Reportable Employer Super Contributions for a director that does not receive any payment - just the RESC, so as to comply with latest ATO compliance.I have followed the QBO suggestions but this results in the person receiving either a negative Gross Earnings (which cannot be reported to ATO STP) or negative Net Earnings (when no earnings or payment should be recorded)How to ensure that the payroll is imply reporting the RESC and nothing else so that the information can be passed to STP each payrun??? This payments to me are still income but cannot change the invoices to inckude gst otherwise it shows "balance due" on customer (contractor) invoices. I still need to calculate this as income and pay the tax on it.
Where/how do I set the tax rate for an employee who has had their tax rate varied down by an ATO Income Tax Withholding Variation (ITWV) ?

I am having issue to integrate keypad with quick books. chart of account in payroll setting is not mapped to payroll journal. I clicked on the primary accounts- default account- wages expense account- there is a drop down list with 2 options: recommended accounts and other accounts, however there is no response regardless with whichever the option i click. does anyone know how to solve this problem?Thanks Sienna

I am currently having serious issues purchase order emails that the supplier says they have not received, yet we also copy the same PO at the same time to ourselves (and we receive it).We send this supplier many Po's per day and it is only one or two (per month) that they say they do not receive (despite us receiving our copy).It happens with PO's that involve the same drop ship customer (we tested today and they did not receive it three times yet we did).We can forward the email PO from our account to them and they receive it fine.We know QB's is sending it out (as we receive it)We know that the supplier receives all other email PO'sThe supplier is blaming QB's and says its not on their email server , its not in any junk or spam folder.It causes us major issues as we assume it has been received and sent out and only when our customer calls to say they haven't received the good s do we determine that the supplier hasn't received it?Any suggestions as to the cause?Thanks

Hi there, we are a school P&C and have received cash donations from all the students that I have deposited into our bank account and then made a bank transfer to a charity for the same amount as a donation to them. What is the best way in Quickbooks to record and account for this? Because technically we only served as the middle man here. Thank you in advance for any help.
Just setting up Self Employed version as a sole trader. Is it possible to categorise most of the transactions in the downloaded bank list as Personal ( family things , food etc etc ) and some as Business, related to my new work ( eg Office supplies ) now that I invoice people a couple of times a month only? , in additional to a part time PAYG job. Ideas Appreciated.
The PAYGW should be reported at W2 6,981 and total at W5 6,981. I am not able to un lodge. Someone from QB was supposed to contact me to assist but this has not happened. Thank you
Does anyone know why keypay doesn’t integrate with QBA. Everytime when i successfully lodged a pay run, the pay info doesn’t not reflect on my reports such as profit and loss report, balance sheet.

Hi thereCould someone please help with this. The tax office has changed the company's pay as you go withholding cycle to monthly instead of quarterly on the BAS because it is more than $25,000 for the year. So I must lodge an activity monthly with just the payg witholding amounts.How do I create this Instalment Activity Statement from quickbooks online then show payment of same. thanks
Have you noticed how many tasks take so many clicks? Eg 1 getting help, you have to type your question in again and again 3-4 times before it asks if you want to post to the community. Also the box fails to work half the time because of something else in QBO. 2. If you want to download an invoice, again it takes multiple clicks. In the invoice list there is a print button and you would think that dropdown would have a download button. but instead you have to go in to edit, and then print or preview, and then download. The whole process because of how slowly it runs takes about a minute. This is ignoring the fact download is not related to printing and it should be in the more menu. 3. The invoice list is by default sorted by stupid. It firstly shows the open invoices which is fine and then it shows the closed invoices from the oldest one but from exactly one year ago. Of course I want to see open invoices first but you would think I would also want to see recent invoices

We have Bank Feeds automatically set-up so when a customer pays a deposit i.e Invoice is for $8500 and they are paying an upfront deposit of $1500, how do I match to the invoice through bank feed?
I have reached out to customer support 6x regarding an issue with deposits not going into my bank account. I have 4 different case numbers and each time I am told it is being escalated. The last call I waited on hold 1 hour to speak with a supervisor. They told me that I would get a call back. That was after the same type of call earlier in the day in which I have never received a call back. Each time I am told funds would be released in 24/48 hours. It has now been a full week without funds being released. It is beyond frustrating that there is no way to speak to a supervisor and after following the directions of Intuit to ensure my bank is able to receive funds, they will not release my money! PLEASE HELP!
