They are being tracked for T4A's, they do not have a negative balance. Of the list of suppliers that need T4A's, all of the new suppliers that have been added in 2022 are the ones who appear on the list, but are unbolded and I cannot check the box beside their name.

In the past few months I noticed that my list of suppliers, which I try to keep to a minimum was getting larger. It looks like QB has been auto creating suppliers (I can see it in the audit log) when I pull in my bank and credit card feeds. It's created entries for Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons, Google, Amazon etc. I don't want this to happen, I actually find it annoying for just every day transactions that I want to categorise but not record the supplier. Does anyone have any insight on how to stop this or a better workaround? Support wanted me to just make them inactive or set up rules etc.
A client set up her QBO and her bi-weekly pay ranges are not correct. Can I correct them?
I have a client with two businesses that I have been managing with QB Desktop. The two companies have merged, so I need to do the same with client files. Is it possible to export data from two QB Desktop clients into one QB Online account.

I am needing to switch from easy start to quickbooks online with payroll but am having trouble making the subscription change. I tried signing in and subscribing new online but it made me start from scratch with my business. As well, every attempt through apple subscriptions either tells me I have to wait until the easy start subscription to end ( which I tried cancelling) or that it will begin after the billing period ends. This should have occurred two days ago and has not. When I sign into quickbooks now it tells me my company is cancelled and that my subscription has ended and to fix in Apple Pay. is there an easier way of changing the type of quickbooks used without having to start the business over from the beginning or is this the only option I have?
This is just an enquiry. Does Quickbooks collect payroll data from a file. If so then how is this done.
Do I need to add the age amount to tax withholding forms in payroll?
We offer group benefits to our staff and it's a shared portion except for the life insurance which is paid in full by the staff. We prepay the group benefits at the beginning of the month and the employee portion is deducted every pay (bi-weekly). As of now, we create a cheque for the payment of the group benefits and that is screwing up the "Profit & Loss" since the cheque payment for the group benefits as well as the employer portion is also included there. Also, we offer this to staff that is on maternity/illness leave and they would send an e-transfer mid-month for their portion. How can we post these payments and how it can be posted in box#40 at the end of the year? Would greatly appreciate your help/assistance.
I'm using Epson's Receipt manager software to scan and import bills into QBO. It's working great, but I'm wondering if there is a way to import them such that they go into the "Review" tab under Bills, instead of automatically being input? There is a field/toggle on the Epson software to say, "Reviewed" or "Not Reviewed" but when it is exported with "Not Reviewed" selected, it still imports to QBO as if it were reviewed.Thanks.
Hi all,We've been informed by the CRA that we owe money for CPP after a PIER review. Looked into it; turns out they were right. This is for 2019. As this is split 50/50 employee/employer, how should I make the entry when I cut a cheque? It is a small amount so is it necessary to split it with the employee involved? How would this be done for 2019? I am assuming that the CRA will be able to correctly apply it to the employee's account. Any information on this would be helpful. This is for QB Desktop. Regards, and TIA.
We are using a thrid party app to process vendor/supplier payments by direct deposit. But how do I know which vendors are paid by cheque and which are paid by direct deposit? I looked at the FLAG feature , but more than one person enters Invoices, and they would have to remember which vendors are paid by what method. Too much room for error. I am surprised QBO doesn't offer direct deposit payments to vendors.
What is the point of selecting a default account for a supplier if QBO doesn't recognize this? The invoice reads the supplier properly but selects random accounts rather than the default account. There is no logic to the account selected - e.g. Meals and Entertainment for an invoice from an electrician.
Can my client send me an accountant's copy from 2022 Desktop Pro for me to open in 2022 Enterprise and me still be able to send them the change file to import?
Does anyone have a correction for this error? The browsers I've tried are Safari and Chrome, using a laptop.

How do I adjust the payroll amount for just one pay period for one employee.
I'm new to quickbooks but is there a way to add sales person to a purchase order and or sales order to track sales by sales person. Like when putting in a PO a drop down list of sales person that would be associated with that PO and when doing a Sales order to track sales done by a particular sales person?
