We're running terminal servers with QuickBooks. Users login to the TS to use QuickBooks. On occassion, QuickBooks will give an error such as Update pending You don't have adminstrative rights. And then close. Administrator has to get everyone to log off, login and run the updates for all QuickBooks versions, and possibly reboot. How do we know their is an update pending so this can be scheduled.
Quickbooks desktop prompts me to decide whether to delete backup files in excess of a designated number but it does not delete them from the device/folder I am saving them to. It deletes them from another folder I no longer back up to.
A cash purchase was made from marketplace for a business item (framed print and carpet) and no taxes were charged. These were paid personally and then expenses were submitted to reimburse out of pocket expenses. That part I get. Now...How do I enter the self-assessed taxes on the purchases for GST and PST to submit the self-assessed taxes to the government? Thank you.
Hi,I have an old payroll transaction that should have been booked to dividends instead of payroll. I want to reverse it and wondering if it's as simple as cancelling cheque and then do a manual entry charging dividend account?I started with $3000 gross pay with $352.60 income tax and $154.38 CPP deduction. Leaving $2493.02 net pay. As well, there is a employer pension plan liability of $154.38.None of these payments for income tax nor CPP have been made to government yet. Thanks,

I recently withdrew an amount from our Savings account and purchased a bank draft (the bank draft was then deposited in our Chequing account). Both of our accounts are linked in QB online. The amount in the bank transaction from Savings is the total of the amount of the draft and the service charge for the draft, and is not the same as the amount deposited to Chequing. So I cannot match them as a "transfer".How do I account for the service charge and match these transactions?
Hi there,I had family visit in Ireland and they wanted to convert currency into euro and withdraw immediately the cash so in my quickbooks I have a lodgement and a withdrawal. How do I record this as it was not my own personal earnings- I was just letting them use my account to exchange? Thanks for any help!
I'm adding customers, and they appear on the customers page, but when I create an invoice and type in the customer, they don't show up in the drop down menu. Same issue with services. When trying to add into an invoice, they don't show up although I've added them. I try to add them again, and it says I've already created them.
We made a cash purchase on Facebook Marketplace and no taxes were charged. I am trying to report self-assessments on the purchases for GST and PST. How to I get the GST to show up on Line 405 Other GST/HST self-assessed in the GST report? I can not figure that out. Thanks.
Hi! Our clinic charges our contractors a Monthly flat rate of $120 + 30% per individual or group session (plus taxes). The percentage is capped at $650 +tx. Is there anyway to have this set-up in QuickBooks?

I am pretty new to QBO Online and need a bit of help with ITC’s on bank transactions. I have my 15% HST tax set up and have applied the tax collected on sales and spent on expenses. When I run my Sale Tax report for my quarterly remittance, my ITC section is showing $0. I don’t use QBO to invoice as my sales are generated through a POS system. All of my transactions are downloaded through my bank and then Categorized. What am I doing wrong to not have any amount showing in ITC?Thanks in advance!
If I add new payment methods or suppliers in the app as prompted to do, I then have doubles of suppliers and incorrect payment options online.
how do I check where my payroll tax payment was posted
