I'm using QB Desktop Enterprise Canadian Version and multi-currency is enabled with CAD being our native currency. I am looking for a way to store the cost of an inventory item in USD. WE opened a 2nd bank account for a period of 1 or 2 months while we moved everything over to the new account. We have since closed the 1st account and only have the 2nd account. The issue I'm having is, quickbooks does not report the correct balance for either account, and I can not figure out how to fix this?

I am hoping someone can help. I recently had a computer crash. I have been using QuickBooks 2013 on my desktop for 10 years. I have a full back up of my 2013 files. When I try to upload them to the 2024 QB desktop trail version I am unable to. When I try to upload them online I am unable to. Neither option accepts my back up file format. After doing research - I've read the 2013 file formats cant be accepted by the newer versions. I no longer have my 2013 installation disk, but I do have my customer number and validation number which I've provided to QB. I have contacted QB via phone many times - they recommended I try the above - online and trial versions to get my files. They said my customer number and validation number do not exists (I kept a record of them upon purchasing and installing QB 2013 10 years ago when I registered my product) no help or progress from Intuit! I am looking to get my 2024 desktop certification, and can't find info or the tutorials to prepare for it.  It is impossible to find.. it keeps sending me to the online certification which I already have.  Please help!!!

The government put this policy into place since Oct 19th 2024.  QBO should be passing along these savings to us small businesses. I have not seen any reductions or notices as yet.
