When I pick a task from the time card input, is the next time I enter recorded against that task? Why doesn’t QBT refresh the time card for only times recorded against that task - it seems to display hours for ALL tasks??

Every time I attempt to initiate a direct deposit while the Payroll Cloud is activated, the process fails, accompanied by an error message stating, "Problem creating request file. We tried to send your payroll information, but the transmission failed." Consequently, I find it necessary to disable Payroll Cloud Services each time I send a direct deposit. However, this workaround has led to the issue of paystubs not being uploaded to either the cloud or QuickBooks Workforce for our employees.In an attempt to resolve this, I have manually attempted to send the paystubs by navigating through the steps: File > Print Forms > Pay Stubs > Selecting the period > Send Online. Despite these efforts, the same error persists on the "Send Payroll Data" screen with the message "Problem creating request file. We tried to send your payroll information, but the transmission failed." I've taken care to ensure that I send fewer than 50 pay stubs each time, yet success remains elusive.I'm so fr

Error exporting 2.00 hours, the user doesn't have any payroll items assigned. Use the Payroll Item Mapping Tool to assign payroll items to this user and then re-export the time. How do I resolve this error?
Why can our employees not utilize the 'Copy Last Timesheet' function? They have always been able to, but now they're receiving an error that says, "QuickBooks can’t copy a previous timesheet because one doesn’t exist yet for this employee or vendor."
I want to build a quote inside QuickBooks with a customer I made in Shopify, but QuickBooks will only sync customers who have an existing invoice. I have to make a invoice for that customer first so that QuickBooks will sync the customer so I can build my quote. Any way to allow QuickBooks connector to sync customer data immediately, even without a invoice? Much appreciated.
Quickbooks Workforce app keep changing back to the certain date's sales number
I have required fields in QB Time but one of the employee's fields are blank. Why does it not require this one person to fill in required fields and how can I fix that? I've checked all his settings but I can't see anything that would cause this. Everyone else has to fill in the fields to save their time sheets.
I just asked a question about how to get actual labor costs into the job cost as we are a union contractor and have additional costs on top of the actual payroll. I was sent a detailed explanation on how to do this but it is all related to paycheck and earnings. I don't want this to affect the paycheck at all but rather just add hourly cost to employees in the job cost. The wages are all taken care of through payroll but the additional money that needs to be added to labor cost for job cost is not part of payroll. Ie.. we pay the union separately from payroll for hours worked for each employee and this is not part of payroll but it is still part of labor cost. I am only in a demo phase of enterprise right now and I cannot see that option. We currently have the online option and you are able to go into projects and assign costs above and beyond the payroll costs for the project labor cost without affecting payroll
I have two new employees that accepted the invitation to Workforce and downloaded the app. However, there is no place to clock in and out in the app. Has anyone else had this issue?
I sent an invoice to a vendor (1st time) and listed her by name. Now all employees' timetracker app shows as this vendor's name. All employees are now listed as this vendor. How do I fix?
Hi all, we tried out quickbooks time for the past 6 months without quickbooks payroll. At the start of the year we upgraded to quickbooks payroll and now I'm stuck in this loop when I try to go into quickbooks time. If I hit activate now it just takes me to my settings and nothing else is prompted and quickbooks payroll is already activated.

I have two former employees that are still showing up on my hours worked report. I have archived them as employees, but they are still showing as members of my team in quickbooks time. The archive option is greyed out and it won't let me select it. Any suggestions on how to remove them?
a few years ago I created my Workforce account with a personal email so I would always have access to my W2s. Now with a different company, I have an account created with my new work email for QB Time to keep track of my timesheets.I am confused about how the two separate emails will be/if merged and whether will I always have access to my W2 information.
Greetings: A client I work with is setting up QB Time to have their employees record time and then will pass those hours off to a 3rd party to process payroll. The issue they are trying to work around is when they try to bill that time, on a person by person basis, against a project, the handoff between Time and QBO isn't bringing over the employee name or bill rate even with the bill rate and billable boxes checked, see attachment. There are just lots of holes with key information missing to be able to effectively add Time to and Invoice on a Project. This client is a staffing company and is about to start a 3-year contract with 60 employees per week. They need all of the pieces to flow cleanly into QBO for invoicing purposes. Also, is there a way within the QBO Project Invoicing to consolidate each individual's time to a single line versus having 5 lines per person X 60 people listed on each invoice? Thank you.Jeff
I'm having issues with our employee's overtime not calculating correctly whenever there is a Holiday. (Just to clarify, our employee are off on Holidays but still log their 8 daily hours.) Any time exceeding 40 hours a week is paid at overtime, but QuickBooks isn't factoring in Holiday hours to their weekly total. It's seeing 32 hours of ST, then 8 hours of Holiday, so any overtime the employees work is not calculating due to it seeing them as only having worked 32 ST hours. We have overtime rules setups as anything exceeding 8 hours daily is paid at overtime, and anything exceeding 40 hours weekly is paid at overtime.
buenas tardes Al ejecutar el balance general, se selecciona activos corrientes en seguida se clickea sobre una cuenta de banco donde el saldo inicial de la cuenta bancaria coincide con el estracto bancario pero el saldo final no coincide con el estracto bancario, al revisar los movimientos de la cuenta se observa que QBO esta colocando invoices que fueron cargados masivamente a QBO por medio de import invoices y por algun motivo estan siendo considerados como ingresos en la cuenta de este banco cuando no fue así.El tal caso que se puede hacer?

I have added the contractors from add team member and also added the email id, Even they have filled the details and W9 is ready , but i am unable to see them on Time team. I can only see the employees list on invite team members. Please help me so i can track the time for contractors.Thanks
Hello, My Quickbooks online is integrated to Quickbooks time. I used to "add manually" the new employees to quickbooks time for them to track their time. However, QBO removed the add manually and have now to "sync" to import newly added employees from Quickbooks online. This "sync" is not working for the new employees and they don't automatically appear in Quickbooks time. Do I have to tick something in Quickbooks online so they would appear and integrate into Quickbooks time? Per experience, the sync does not work on new employees and I had to manually add and invite them previously. I have attached a screenshot of the message that says we have to "sync" new members. I have an employee who works at two different jobs. (One location, two different job types). How do I assign different pay rates to the one employee in Quickbooks Time Online? We do payroll through and outside source, so it needs to be able to read the two hourly rates and apply to the hours logged per job code.

I'm going through time sheets and invoices for an ongoing client and have to constantly sift through sheets. Is there a way to mark them as invoiced, short of manually adding text to each individual sheet?
The main customer is not showing up as an option in QuickBooks Time. Only the sub customers. How do I make it so that my employees can add time under the main customer and not only the sub customer.
