Hello, When I run reports for the same time period, the total sales under P&L report does not match the total sales under the Tax Liability Summary report. I have done the recommended steps to find the offending transactions, and it seems that they boil down to my refunded invoices (credit memos), as well as a few non-inventory item sales. Now that I know the transactions, how would I go about making sure that credit memos will lessen the Tax Liability Summary income?
The company I work for invoices customers monthly. Not all customers pay in the same month. I would like to run a report showing payments received for invoices in the current year. Every report I try to run gives me payments received in 2024 but for invoices dated in 2023. Is there a way to only see payments for invoices dated in 2024?

We did extensive budgets for the rest of this year and next year. How does QBO create and show the resulting projected balance sheets/financial positions? The Cash Flow Planner is not what I have in mind.

I have invoiced a customer for services... The payment screen shows approved but it notes delayed. Can you explain what that means? It has been this way since 4/14.
When I attempt to change the expense that is used for my QuickBooks Payments processing fees, I can't find the expense that I want to use. I also can't type in the field to easily find the expense I want to use. Is anyone else seeing this issue?
I created 3 Classes for using in categorizing certain transactions (Event Revenue, Event Donations, Event Expenses). I run the standard Report "Sales Class Detail Report" and Filter on the 3 Event Classes above. The Event Revenue and Event Donations show up in the report but the Event Expenses do not. I went back to my bank register and can see the transactions. I only have 3 Event Expense transactions. One is a check that was written and it has the "Event Expense" in the "Class" section. The other transaction is a split transaction made up of 2 individual transactions. The "Class" section is blank but when I edit the transaction I can see the two underlying transactions and they both have "Event Expenses" in the "Class" Section. Whey won't any of the three transactions show up in the Detail report?
Anyone having trouble with invoice numbers repeating?I now have two invoice numbers for different clients
A customer paid their invoice in full, but due to an issue with one of the companies a product is coming from, has decided to swap out that product for another, which happens to be cheaper. I can't find any Self-Employed-specific instructions for issuing refunds.
Hello - in my Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020 program, I have a Company file that I have been working with for about 2 years now. Given recent changes in the business operations, I will need to activate the multi-currency feature within QB, to handle both USD and CDN currencies. Prior to activating the multi currencies, is there anything I need to be aware of pertaining to my vendors listing, customer listing, or bank account balances? Some of the vendors and customers will need to be switched from the base/home currency, along with one of the bank balances (which I have just been manually converting). Does any one if there errors or historical balance issues that will occur will when I activate the multi currency feature? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
