When I select New Invoice does not appear. How do I add it?
I have 2 separate bank checking accounts in my company chart of accounts. I manually entered over 150 checks into the wrong checking account. Is there a way to select all those checks and "move" them into the correct checking account?
Our construction company charges the customer a 10% Deposit Check before work commences. This money is deposited into an Escrow account as a Liability. When the money is transferred to our Business Checking account, how do we recognize this as a sale?

I have been told it is a 'back of house' problem that is being worked on. I can't reconcile and I am resenting paying for all of this an unable to do my work. I've spent more than 8 hours on the phone with customer service. Always back to the same conclusion, that the tech department is working on it.

Hi, Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the report name and blank row at the top of reports? I want the first row of my report to just be the column headers. Thanks!
Ive tried recording the payment several ways. The other times it will say there is no open invoice for the customer. Infact the invoice is actually over due.
This is on Quickbooks online.
I am trying to look at the history of an emailed invoice to see if my customer has opened the email. The history icon on the invoice is not available for me to open.

So basically I got a new phone pixel 6 pro and when I sign in to quick books online I don't see old activate I can't see customers I can't see invoices I can't see estimates I can't see my bank account. But when I log in to my old phone I do see all of them

A couple of my clients have created expense accounts that are duplicate or could be consolidated with another account The only option I had was to make it inactive, however, when I ran the P&L, the accounts that were made inactive showed up as deleted. The activity history was there for the year and even thought I made a journal to reclass the expense and zeroed the account, it still shows up on the P&L report and "deleted" is labeled next to that account.Anyway this can go away or is this just how QBO is? I have an accountant's login but it's the client's QB account.
I'm checking my P&L - Cash Method and I saw that my COGS is too high than my Sales Revenue. When i open the COGS transaction, all the Bill of my POs are there even the items are not yet sold. My Bill are added using an Item and not using a category Account so i don't know why it is using in my COGS.
I guess the actual look of the invoice isn't a huge deal even though I wonder why they don't print like they show on my Custom Form Styles. But what I definitely need is to remove the "ship to" portion on the invoices. Everything I read tells me to uncheck the box by shipping, and it already is unchecked.
Hi, I am currently working with a client that has a 2018 desktop QB software. They are running into issues with their prepaid tuition accounts. It has been throwing off their balance sheet for 2023. In previous years they used to have an invoice system. However, they stopped doing that and now only make deposits that are made from tuition payments. I also want to mention that they do have a liability account that isn't reconciled or cleaned up. Any thoughts on how you would proceed? I am just looking for a second opinion on this. Thanks!
I am also having this issue. To clarify what the issue is, I have described it below. I have setup sales invoice reminders as recurring transactions so that at the end of the month, I can go into the Dashboard / Tasks and see an invoice reminder for each customer I need to invoice. In the past, I would only have to update some general details specific for that month. Once I saved, it would provide me with an invoice number, and close the reminder. After saving, the dashboard would remove the reminder for that customer recurring transaction. The problem is that it is no longer removing the reminder after it has been used. I am having to click the option to "skip" the reminder to remove it off my dashboard task list. I hope this helps explain the problem. This is a new issue for me so I am assuming it happened after March 1, 2024 because that was the last time I used the dashboard tasks wit
