I double checked and the rent I pay is categorized as Business Expense - Rent and Lease(home office) but the Profit and Loss page shows $0
I'm trying to change the contractor email, but it's grayed out and cannot be changed.
I am new to quickbooks online but used desktop for many years. A customer paid using Zelle to my personal account. I transferred the funds to my business account. How do I match those transfered fund to the customer's invoice?
My personal email is what I use to logon and manage QuickBooks account. My business email is what clients should see on the invoice, and it is listed on my business profile. There appears to be nothing I can do to correct this.
I am a new bookkeeper and I landed a job for this client with 5 businesses--all have qbo accounts. They migrated from Qbo Enterprise to Qbo Online and records were til 2022. I started recording all 2023 transactions from his checking account in Company A. I also did reconciliation til September 2023. Since I have csv's I had no hard time reconciling. He then told me that his business credit cards (name under ComB) were used to all of his businesses. He then told me what transactions are for ComA. So I did record expenses I saw on ComB credit card to ComA's qbo account. However I did ADD a credit card account and there where I posted all expenses from ComB. Dilemma No.1: I saw funds to and from Company B and C. I am struggling to treat intercompany transactions . I understand that ComA received funds from ComB and later ComA paid ComB-- I can use Receivable from /Payable To here right? Still having doubts if I will record a journal entry or how to do that. I don't want to mess
We're using QuickBooks Online Advanced.
It says "We couldn’t process your payment.Make sure your billing info is up to date. Update billing info", when I click Update billing info, the screen says an error has occurred. How do I fix this?
I was recently trying to get my things in order for my tax preparer. I found that QB missed two weeks of transactions and i had to calculate the totals from my bank statements. Now, I have 2 QB accounts since i have 2 businesses. Now i wonder if QB missed transactions from my other business since the expenses total from my other business seemed low. I wonder if there is a way to check this. Before and after those two weeks everything was in order. Please help, thank you so much for your time.
For example each time I create a JE in QBO I want QBs to automatically assign a sequential JE number
I can’t log into the old account but I have downloaded statements from it. I want to be able to add the sales and expenses into QB because currently my P&Ls are off because of these missing transactions.
I am having trouble with budget reports showing a budgeted amount of exactly double what is intended.
Customer refused to pay
An Intuit salesperson has assured me that QuickBooks Live natively can handle the accounting for S-Corps and Partnerships, specifically taking care of the allocations to partners/shareholders of net income plus the basis calculations. Is this true? If not, what is required?
I've updated the vehicles but it won't let me add the business miles (greyed out) and now there are a ridiculous amount of mile on 1 vehicle.
I am requesting a refund for Payroll and Online Bookeeping services. They were both recommended and not useful. Thank you.
Double billed for same account
