is there a way to import multiple bills into quickbooks using excel/csv files?
Contractor is self-adding and cannot complete the account setup, because the system isn't recognizing their phone number and doesn't let me confirm password.
I send the estimate but it doesn't show up under the customer
When I look at the Bank Transaction screen, it shows $0 for the Bank Balance of our credit card and the QB balance is $6500. This card is paid off. So why don't they both show $0? I have reconciled every month and had no problems to date.
How update invoice's to show them paid
Hi, I am using QB online. I have estimates setup per project. I am also using QB time. Currently employees time is allocated to the job when their hours are entered. When going under the project and pulling the report estimate vs. actuals currently all my cogs are allocated under not specified. 1. How can I get this unspecified number to be allocated between labor and contract materials under the actual cost categories?2. Is there a way under project budgets to allocate # of hours to my labor cost category? I only see a field for cost total. I am trying to see not only labor costs incurred but also hours used vs. hours budgeted for the project. 3. For Progress invoicing how can I show % billed on the contract and amount remaining on the contract on my invoicing?4. On estimate vs. actuals reports by project how can I account for my OH percentage on my actuals for labor and materials? What is the advantage of having a budget for a project instead of just comparing es

We use the "Schedule Payment" option in the Action Column to see which bills are still unpaid for the vendor, rather than having to click on each individual bill to see if it's been paid.
No ability to send an email to contractor.
Can anyone tell me how to change what's on the "business purpose" dropdown when categorizing mileage? I have duplicates but can't figure out where to change the item list
Hello to all who read this, am wondering how, if possible, would I import a Qbo file to QuickBooks online... Let me explain in further detail... On my bank's website, (Chase), I conducted a search for all Zelle debit transactions for a specific time period. When I click on "download activity", it gives different options as to the file type I want to download the activity as a Quicken file, Excel, (. XLs,. CSV), and QuickBooks Qbo format. I chose the Qbo format. .....Can anyone tell me how I would import the file to QuickBooks Online? I want to run a report using the activity on that file only to calculate the totals for each individual that we sent Zelle payments to. IIf this makes sense to ANYONE, please help! Thank you in advance for your time. Angel [removed], on behalf of Federico G.
I have an invoice that I've set up to automatically generate. The customer no longer needs to receive an invoice for these services. How do I stop it or delete it? Thank you
I took over bookkeeping for a client who co-mingles personal and business transactions. The previous bookkeeper created an equity account named “Due To / From Owner”. Both deposits and withdrawals/expenses go to this one account for the following: When the business owner uses his business credit cards to pay personal expenses. When he transfers money out of the business account to his personal account. When he deposits money into the business account from his personal accounts. None of these deposits to the business account are specifically to repay the personal expenses – he just deposits random amounts. So the two amounts (debits and credits) never match – there is always either a positive or negative balance in “Due To / From Owner”. I noticed that some years, the expenses are greater than the deposits and vice versa so the “Due To / From Owner” account is never zeroed out. FYI – he is on payroll so these
how to access how much a customer paid us in the year 2023
A banner on my reporting page says, "After December 14, 2023, some reports will only be available in the modern view. Find out more." But the URL linked in "Find out more" only goes to instructions about how to create customized reports in Modern View. Good to know, but not my question. It doesn't let me "find out more" about how some reports will only be available in Modern View. I need to be able to plan ahead and prioritize which of my customized reports to build anew from scratch in the Modern View. So: ... which reports will only available in Modern View after December 14th?
When we send out quarterly pledges (invoices) we would like to be able to show their previous payment history. Can we show payment history on pledge or invoices? on their new statement. Can we do that?
We use bill.com as our payables solution and synch to QuickBooks Online. We have automatic numbering for Journal Entries in QuickBooks online. Each day there is payment activity in bill.com it creates a Funds Transfer Journal Entry in QuickBooks online. It used to synch over and use the next QuickBooks JE number. Since about mid-February the entry now has a numbering scheme of "BILL mm-dd-yyyy AP" instead of using the next JE number (for example, the next number should be 8542). Anyone know how to resolve this without editing each JE number every time? I chatted with bill.com who say they don't send numbering information. I also tried chatting with QBO support and the person gave us and left my conversation 😞 Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
