The payment terms is no longer functioning also. Originally, If I used a bill template two times in a row, the system would refresh the screen back to the dashboard instead of the recurring template screen. Now it just freezes as it is trying to save the bill. I have talked to support and they are no help. Apparently they could not escalate to someone truly technical. Now that it freezes I am stuck. HELP!!!!!!
How do I get my old layout back as the new "updated" layout does not have the fields I used in my old layout. When I try to do this with custom fields, it says have reached by "3" field limit. I don't want to upgrade. I just need my old invoice layout back. This is blocking and not able to invoice as is!
When I make a bank deposit of cash (tour revenue or onsite donations), I can split the deposit between different categories. What if I use some of that cash that I take in to pay someone who performs a service (plays music for a party, for example); how do I enter both the cash taken in and the cash paid out into QBO since I haven't deposited the cash in the bank?
I'm trying to display the Notes from an Invoice in a Quickbooks report. I add a Note to the Invoice on the right side (select Transaction) and save it. The Notes field in the Open Invoice report is blank for this invoice.
When I started to use the clear payment button, it came up with a couple of warnings that freaked me out so I did not proceed.
Today 12/11/23 I click save and close after entering a bill and it shows saved but then I get a pop up that asks if I want to leave without saving. Also the QB Online app is not working. Anyone else have that trouble?
Our loan/advance proceeds are showing up in the Operating section of cash flow statement and not the Financing section. How do I fix this? The account type is marked as Other Current Liabilities and the Tax Form is Loan Payable. I even changed the Tax Form type to Line of Credit and received the same results on the cash flow report. Is there another setting that controls where accounts/transactions appear on the cash flow statement?
Hello! I have inherited accounting responsibilities and am trying to educate myself but haven't been able to find a clear answer to my question simply by Googling. I ran our general ledger and statement of financial position reports. Each of these reports show the same balances for my accounts, including the opening balance equity. The net revenue matches my statement of activity. However, I do not understand how the retained earnings, total equity, and total liabilities & equity are being calculated on the Financial Position report. These numbers seem very high but I don't know where they're coming from so I don't know how to interpret them. Any guidance would be appreciated!
I had a countdown for the new estimate layouts saying it would kick in today. I have been waiting to send out new estimates until the new layout is available. Today the new layout is not in effect and there is no time frame listed except it will switch soon. How can I possibly run a business with random changes happening to my accounting system?
Is there a way to grant access to a user to be able to pull a P&L report but not allow them to drill down into certain accounts.
