My project address is not showing up on my invoice.
I want to use the Needs attention status to move invoices that are not ready to be sent yet. Kind of like a holding area for them. I don't like how the status of an invoice that is sent and not sent say the same as far overdue. One is overdue because we haven't sent it, the other because the client hasn't paid. I have hundreds of invoices that need to separate.

I'd like to use Quickbooks Online (QO) for a business I'm starting and haven't been able to find an answer to one particular question. I'd be using it in conjunction with a Shopify store, so Shopify would automatically send the orders to QO. From what I've been able to tell so far, QO wants to assign a specific price to a specific product. In my case, though, let's say I'm selling boxes, but every box is custom. The price is determined solely by the x, y, and z dimensions. So, Shopify will collect a part number (which will be the same for all boxes), the dimensions, and the calculated price, and send all that to QO. Will this cause a problem for QO, since the same part number will always (well, usually), come with a different price associated with it? If this can be accommodated, how?
Set up bills to pay, went to Pay bills on QBO dashboard and Bill Pay never loaded?
Is there a way to do this on a global command?

This used to be an option but is no longer showing up for me.
I have been updating my customers daily and I notice that every time I do an update QuickBooks deletes all of my work and reverts things back to the way they were. I have no idea why this is happening and it's been happening for months. I've noticed it's not all customers just to select you and it's the same ones every time. Has anyone else experienced QuickBooks reverting their work?

Good afternoon. Our company does not use tags within invoices. However, I would like to tag some invoices for a specific reason. I not only want to report on those invoices with that tag, but I also want to use that tag to eliminate them from a different report. The problem I am having is on the report where I don't want them included. If I use the filter and select the tags that exist and then deselect the tag I want eliminated, my report comes back blank. And interestingly enough, if I include the tag filter and say "All", the only invoices that appear in the report are the ones that actually have that tag. Is there not a way to include blank or empty tags in your filter? It just seems crazy. TIA.
My client wants to add a custom column on the open invoices report for one of his customers in QB 2022 desktop. I added a new box to the invoices called LD #. See attached screen shot. Trying to customize the report in QB and add or create a column for LD # and have the LD number show up on the open invoices report.

I have a question about exporting data from Expensify to QuickBooks. We just recently synched our Expensify to feed into QBO, and most of it is going great! When we export Expensify reports to a QB bill, everything transfers over fine. However, when we create an invoice to bill project expenses, the Product/Service cell does not populate with anything, even though we have Categories and Track Classes on in our QBO Settings. Is there a way to fix this?
The programmers are ******** up bookkeeping something fierce. I have no idea if I should be using category or details when I write a check. If I use both, it doubles the amount. Is this necessary? and yes, I did a feedback post to QBO. But I am getting so confused around writing a simple check!!! If I could go back to desktop I would but third party apps need online.
Is there a way to setup dynamic messages in the message body of a recurring invoice?I want a recurring invoice going every month to my clients saying:"Invoice for the month: <previous month>", so that every time the invoice is sent the message body is updated as per whatever the previous month was.How do I set this up?
Running QB's Desktop 24.0 and can't get QBAR to run on 1 particular company file, let's call it Company A. Company files B & C work fine with QBAR. "Have you updated any QB transactions since you last used Advanced Reporting?" [Update Now] or [Skip]I select [Update Now] because we haven't used QBAR in about ~5 years Then I get the following message..."Sorry, Advanced Reporting couldn't update your report" The license has been synced, data has been verified and there are no pending updates available
Is this a system glitch? Never have had this happen before and have tried to edit 2 different customers info.
