I'm new to Quickbooks Online and have a concern with sending invoices from QBO itself. With the "quickbooks" address being the "sent from" field, I'm concerned that customers won't get the invoice as it'll go to a spam filter. Does anyone tend to have that issue?
There is no late fee category or section to edit. Is this not possible to do in Plus? Do I need Advanced to do this?
We are a non-profit basketball booster club. We invoice a full amount of $150 for each player's registration. There are some players who are in financial hardship where we will work out a reduced fee for them. What type of account do we set up to track what we're discounting, and how do we apply that to the invoice? This would be an expense that the club is absorbing, but we want to be able to show that amount.

Two years ago, our non-profit was gifted a property (building and land) by the County--Sales Price was $10.00. Within the Fixed-Asset Chart of Accounts, I entered the Property with its Sales Price (as $10 debit and $10 credit). Tomorrow, I need to submit a current Balance Sheet and not sure how to update the Balance Sheet to reflect the property's current market value which is $331,260. Thank you.
I don't see an option to change the format. I would move "Statement" to the top center like other forms and give me the option to have a longer name per line. It keeps putting things into 2 lines making some of my addresses 5 lines instead of 3 or 4. There is plenty of room to have each line be longer.
I am currently working for a property management company, and my employer has requested that I create an owner's statement that includes detailed transaction information. This report should summarize the beginning balance, cash inflows and outflows, net owner funds, and the amount to be remitted or paid on a monthly basis. For reference, the beginning balance for January is nil, and the ending balance should be reflected in February. My employer provided an example of an Owner's Statement generated in AppFolio, and I need to replicate this formatting in QuickBooks. If anyone has guidance or assistance in creating this monthly statement, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!
I have a recurring invoice template setup for a couple customers and also create manual invoices as needed. The recurring template customer number works fine as long as I do not create a manual invoice for a different number. For example, I have ABC-01 invoice set to be created the 1st of each month. Each month, the number increases by one. So, February is ABC-02. Then February 15, I create a manual invoice for customer XZY and call is XYZ-01. On March, instead of having ABC-03, that customer's invoice is created at XYZ-02. How do I stop this, and have it be ABC-03 without manually editing?
How would I enter an auto loan payment if the company changed names and created another quickbooks account but did not transfer the information from one account into the other?
how can I mark an invoice as paid?
Hello, I've been gathering information for an upcoming audit. We are being asked about our AP aging for the month of August. Some balances show up as current/unpaid; however, when I look into the details, the transactions show that these balances have been paid off. What could be causing these to continue showing as open balances?
How do I print a report that reflects two budget years and the percentage change (i.e. 2024 budget vs 2025 budget and the % difference)?
Hello! I need help! I have recently switched from QB Desktop to Online, and in my A/R Report I have several customer payments showing up under my report from 2017 & 2018. How do I clear or void those out, without it affecting my financial balances and reconciliations in the future? What would be the best way to get those out of there? Thanks in advance!
I have been notified of several missed 941 quarterly reports in previous years. Can I file these reports through Quickbooks payroll for previous years?
Hello. I have created 3 subdivided (by class) budgets, but I don't see how to run a budget to actuals report which will show all of the classes in 1 report. It appears that when I request a budget to actuals report, it will only show one class' budget, and the other classes show that there is no budget. Can anyone help?
I took a screenshot but submitting a problem with the app isn’t easy to guess and Quickbooks should figure this out.
Hi All,Was wondering if you could help set up a Custom Report.I would like to generate a report template, where I can pull out the estimates (Filtered by Pending, Accepted, Rejected etc) but also has the details of the Line Items of those Estimates: E.g. Service Date, Description, Rate etc. So essentially I need to be able to generate a report in excel (which is emailed every week) where I can see an estimate, the status of the estimate, and the individual line items such as service date, description, rate etc. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
