We are doing the distribution for a calendar and all the profits go to charity. They are being bought on our online store and a delivery charge is paid. Customers can also add other products to the same order. The value of the calendars is going to be passed onto a charity when they have all been sold. I will retain the delivery charges to cover the costs of the distribution. How do I record this?
We have purchased an iPhone from Apple with interest-free credit/finance provided by Barlcays Finance over 2 years. How do I correctly record the invoice from Apple to reclaim the VAT and record the repayment of the finance?
Since I updated my QB app (android) all my previous categories for expenditure are assets are gone. All my suppliers are gone and all my clients are gone except from this tax year. How can I get these back please?

When receiving a delivery error it is difficult to establish which email "bounced" if delivered to multiple email addresses. 2 invoices recently bounced and I forwarded them again from Outlook. The "bounce backs" were actually automatic replies confirming receipt so the delivery error is misleading. Is there a way to view the bounced email so we can establish if we actually do have an error or not. I have also found that if I amend the email address and send again it will send to everyone which is not ideal as client's complain they've received twice. If I just use the 1 corrected email address then it updates the customer record and therefore the next invoice the other addresses are not included. This needs to be improved to be more user friendly as it currently upsets our clients.
I've been using QBSE and moved to QBO. I've been using it a few weeks but now data has gone from the app. How can I get it back
When importing a customer credit the CreditNoteNo field will not automaticly map,the CreditMemoDate and all the others do. What is the correct field name? I have tried CreditMemoNo & CreditNoteNo
Hello, I am trying to match two bank payments to one invoice. Before I started doing this I already said the client had paid so the invoice is now paid and closed. When I try to match the two bank transactions to a invoice, the right invoice doesn’t appear to be in the list? I’ve change the date and put in the clients name but it still doesn’t come up for a match. Help!
I have had to undo the Sept bank feed, i have matched the payments/receipts, but it wont let me add the subcontractor payments as it states that the cis has been filed.
Hi, I have had a payment in error from a company that I work for. I have now refunded back to their bank account but have no idea how I should record this in quickbooks as I can't find an option. Any ideas? Thanks,Lee
I have a lot of old expense receipts in the allocation list which I don’t need. It doesn’t seem to give a delete option? Is there a way these can be removed please? Thanks

Hello,I'm about to raise my first credit note and refund a customer, I understand about how to create the credit note on QB online, but how do I allocate my bank payment back to the customer, will QB just flag it up as a bank transaction to review and then do I just allocate the credit note to it?Will the VAT also work itself out automatically or do I need to do something with that also?Many thanksMarc
I searched and saw there were problems with settings where cc'ing yourself wasn't working but that's not the case with these invoices. I successfully sent one yesterday but three attempts at a new invoice to another customer no luck. I just get delivery failure red !
I've already connected my bank, it shows the balance on the transactions tab. However when I click on expenses tab shown here, it shows this screen. I've tried reconnecting my bank but it doesn't let me readd it
I recently updated Quickbooks Online to Quickbooks Advanced. The purpose was to move away from Dext and have employees enter their expenses directly into Quickbooks so all are working on one programme.As hard as I try, I cannot snap receipts when logged in through an expense account. If I log into to QBO on my phone, then I can snap and upload receipts fine. However, in the expense account, if I select Snap a Receipt, the only options that come up relate to selecting a previous image saved in my gallery.I have read the boards and found other users with troubles and so have studiously followed the recommended steps to rectify, but without success. I am using a Galaxy S22 Ultra phone and see some suggestion that QBO expense/timetracker may have issues with those.But this is not really a question of "it doesn't work" and more a question of "it doesn't even give the option to select a camera!Most weird - any help welcome!
