how do I add a user to quickbooks on line?
Hi, we have three accounts in QB that were originally posted to the Expenses account. However, they need to be changed to the COGS account instead, but QB will not allow this change since there are past entries located here. I only want to change starting 2023 for the current fiscal year moving forward. This is essential to make our P/L reports look correct. Does anyone have an idea how I can make this change? Please advise thank you! VAL
My expenses do not seems to be connected to my charter of accountant despite the fact it has been properly mapped. Only the amounts allocated to already existing GL's are showing properly but none of those we have created seems to appear. I suppose we missed a step and forgot to connect somehow, can anyone help?

I am working on setting up my subscription. When I go to Intuit and attempt to add a payment method, it is only allowing US payments, I need to pay with a Canadian card.Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Our former bookkeeper was doing our bookkeeping tasks on QB Desktop. She sent me the files and I have successfully created and migrated that Company file to a new QBO File. While she was doing reconciliation, reporting etc in Desktop, we were also using a separate QBO account for invoicing, Time, Projects, and Payroll. I want to know how to successfully migrate & merge the data from our former QBO account into the new QBO account that has her former desktop files imported. That is, how can I avoid duplications/serious headache with this? The data she kept in the desktop files (which again, are now in a brand new QBO company file) did not include all the same info as she was not the one doing invoicing, sending estimates, or running payroll/managing QBTime for our employees. I want all of this in one complete file. I will also need to migrate everything from our former QBTime account to the new one.

Hey!I just signed up for Quickbooks Online and have recorded all my transactions for the 2023 year. I had been running an airbnb for the previous year as well but recorded all my transactions on paper or spreadsheets. Now that I have finished recording my transactions I still have a quickbooks balance of $12,322.52 and a bank balance of $5,734.63 on my linked account. I don't know why there is a difference between these two accounts. I made sure there are no duplicate transactions and if I enter the years opening balance of about $3500 it makes the difference even greater. I do not want to go through all of my previous years transactions so I am wondering what I can do to start fresh and make this number balance for now and going forward it will stay balanced? Could I just manually enter an opening balance that is a negative number for the account? Any suggestions is appreciated!

Hello, everyone, I 'm new to the QBOA and would like to take the QBO examand get the certificate.However, after I signed up as an accountant, I found the sales tax is USA-based and I could not change the firm address to Canada . I am not sure how to switch the version. I thought maybe the free training portal is only suitable for USA users. I would like to try the Canadian version and get a knowledge of the tax interface. In that case, do I have to subscribe the Canadian product? Thank you for your help!
Hi everyone,We do software implementations with clients and the work done often spans more than one month and I want the revenue from hours done in each month to show in the month but still want to, eventually, send the customer one invoice.If I add the hours done in June to the invoice that started in May, the revenue shows in May and, if I create a new invoice in June I will not be able to give the customer one invoice; is there a fix for that?Thanks,Ashraf
When I log into my bank to download the credit card files I am now getting this error...You don't have permission to access "http://www.scotiaonline.scotiabank.com/online/authentication/authentication.bns" on this server.I didn't get this error last month when I went to log in. Same house, same internet, same laptop. Nothing has changed Any suggestions?
