Account Management

I recently enabled 2FA for an RBC Business account that is linked in QBO. Now when QBO attempts to sync transactions, it triggers the approval request but approving results in an error on both the RBC app and QBO side. This behaviour is the same from either QBO web or iOS app. The RBC authenticator works fine when required via other access methods (e.g. RBC website logins or non-trusted device RBC app logins). Based on my experience with Mint.com for something similar, it can take up to 6 months for something like this to be properly supported in the Intuit product. I’d really like to get something sooner, keep the added security and have QBO behave properly so I’m checking to see if there is any advice. Let me know, thanks!

I use Chrome.
Can someone share how to change the email notification address for incoming payment alert? Many thanks in advance.
Is there a process for changing Regions for your account? Or cancel trial subscription and start over?
I have just started using QB for our business. I did not have some of the opening balances available to me when I was ready to proceed. I now need to put in an opening balance for my sales tax owed from the previous year. I have searched and tried to follow some of the articles I have found but none of them seem to apply to QB Desktop premier. I would really appreciated some feedback on this. It is a real conundrum for me and I am now hung up by this.TIA!
How can I turn off 2 step verification process when I log in?
QBO Canada articles mention QBO Advanced with 25 users. I do not see it as an option purchase. What are the options for companies with more than 5 users?
It is not useful for my small business and is too expensive.
I have found instructions on how to do this in other versions of QBO, but it specifically says DO NOT use those methods for accountant version. I linked my account to a bank account I no longer use, to get a feel for QBO to help clients. Now I am trying to transition to using QBO for my practice, but I've got all this old data kicking around in it.
Hello, I am at the beginning of my career and I closed the books for fiscal year end and months later noticed I had mad a mistake setting up my credit card account. In the beginning I should have opened it with a beginning balance however I was silly and did a transfer from the bank to the credit card. It is a GIC mastercard that collects interest, so it has a surplus amount instead and we are using our own money instead of borrowing like a regular credit card. that's why it confused me on how to set it up to begin with. I really hope someone understands what I'm explaining lol. So the very first transaction which was last fiscal year needs to be fix but the accounts are closed for that year, and like I mentioned it is connected to other transactions. Is there an easy way to fix this or did I dig myself a big hole?
Finally got around to setting up QuickBook Payments. It was advertised as a way to collect credit card and bank payments, which I thought was great. Most of our customers pay via bank transfers, but the flexibility is good to have. When I went to Account Settings -> Payments -> Bank Payments -> Set Up, it says "Confirmation required. Connect your bank account so we can confirm your deposit info." When I click "Connect Bank", BMO cannot be selected. Every other Canadian bank, big or small, seems to be there though. Is there some error here somewhere, or will I not be able to use QuickBook Payments unless I switch to literally any other Canadian bank???
A client has a user that was first created as a Time Tracker user. They are the new office admin, and they are using the owner's QBO Login to work on QBO. But, for audit report purposes, I want her to log in with her own QBO login. But when I try to click the "Edit" Action next to her user in the user list, I can't change or add to her user type. And the only other option I see in the drop down is "Delete". How do we resolve this? TIA. (QBO Canada, I'm accountant user, viewing user roles).
We have QB . Want to stop exporting to xls to create useful graphs based on reports. Is this an accountant-only feature? How do you get useful graphs into dashboard?
How do I delete old years from 20-10 years ago we don’t need which is slowing system. there must be a way?
Hi there, I was just looking for some advice when it comes to Owner Withdrawls. As a one-person small business, I do not pay myself out on payroll. Instead I transfer $$ that I need from my business chequing account (regular chequeing, I do not have a "small business banking" account) to my personal chequing account.I am wondering how I should account for these in Quickbooks. Should I be,A) "categorizing" it as an "expense" under "owner withdrawls"OrB) "record as transfer" to "owner withdrawls" When I mark it as expense it adds it to my monthly expenses which I don't particularly want, so last year I used the "transfer" option but I want to make sure this is okay. TIA!
Good day,I will give a brief explain of the situation first; We run a shop. The shop has years and years (and YEARS!) of materials (steel bars) that have been purchased over time and never recorded anywhere. Potentially a very large amount of money worth. I do not want to inventory this material. What I had in my mind to do, which I am not sure is feasible or not, is to create a GL code that we can assign a dollar figure of this material to and then "withdraw" amounts against this until it is used up. Is this possible? If so, some direction on added it to the GL would be awesome and especially direction on how to remove it properly and be billed to jobs would also be great! Thanks!
I patiently waited for the Onboarding specialist to call but nobody called my mobile number. After 10 minutes I received an email stating they called a few times but nobody answered so they cancelled. There were no calls to my mobile around that time! I replied to the cancellation email stating the above. No response. The cancellation email says to reschedule. Do we have to schedule multiple times to get an onboarding call?
I have been trying to subscribe without success. When I clicked on "Buy Now", I was asked to open a user account, which I did. But afterwards, the system cleared my shopping cart, and every time I go back to try to make the purchase, it fails and asks me to log in, but there is no way I can see that I can sign in for that purpose. Any solution?
I have tried clearing browser history, clearing intuit cookies, removing pop up blockers/anti virus software, trusting the site. I have Safari 10.12.6 which should be enough to load the page. What next?
