I am the Treasurer for a Canadian charity and I use QB Premiere Desktop. Recently a donor donated a number of expensive jackets. Most of them were given out as awards to local community volunteers. A few were offered for purchase to our Board members. I created: - a bank account called 'in-kind clearing' - an income account called 'in-kind donations' -an item called 'jacket' with the FMV But here is where I have the problems. - how do I record the donation? Just deposit to 'in-kind clearing' credit to 'in-kind donations'? -how do I record the purchases of those jackets from our inventory to the individual board member buyers? Clearly these are not tax receiptable. - how do I record the movement of these jackets from 'in-kind clearing' to our volunteer awards? Thanks Glen Wolgemuth, Treasurer

I have been in discussion with QBO support, but its been weeks and they still don't have a solution, or think the problem is on my end. It's not. Our IT is top notch and wasted quite a bit of time on verifying our systems.

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to properly log a partner buyout in quickbooks.Backstory: My company's partner decided to leave, and is requesting a lump sum payment for termination of the partnership. Do I log this as an expence?Thanks in advance.
After I log in and am shown my companies, the newest one I made is in lower case letters. I want it in upper case letters. There is no way to do this. You can try and edit the company name but it will not accept it. Whatever you typed in when you first signed up seems to override everything. That was not made clear when signing up. There must be a way that Quickbooks can edit the original sign-up document? I am not even sure why they have the box for editing your company name, when it isn't even possible!?
My business is seasonal. And I won’t be using the account for a few months
no details to add. message says "we paused loading this content to help other items go faster". it is dead- doesn't accept any input. doesn't yield any info_ just a constant ***** screen. Can't open banking, new, zippo.
I know how to connect. There is just an issue on QBO where it is not allowing me to.
I can not seem to work out how to request a refund on subscription Fees - I closed my business and need to request a refund on the subscription deducted from my account. I was given a link to follow by the account manager, but that did not work for subscription - It required an order number and was also in CA$ ??
