It took forever to convert/repair my QB 2017 files into correct form for the Simple Start Online account. Also had difficulty uploading it until was helped in Chat. Uploaded a minor company account to "get the hang" of using the system. But now that I want to upload the main company account, I can't, and the supposed /purgecompany command does not work for Simple Start. This is infuriating!
I've talked to 5 people at Intuit today. Noone is able to give me a reason why I can't take a QB Online account and put it in another QB online account. I can't believe I can go easily from Desktop to Online but can't move to another online account. I've been trying for 5 hours now with no success. I'm at my wit's end. Help!

Are these emails fraudulent / Phishing emails? How can we address?
We recently had a change in Office Staff and the individual that was in charge of QuickBooks is no longer with the company and left no passwords or account information. We have called QuickBooks several times to update to the new employee information but because we do not have the original passwords they want us to send in tons of company information. When we send in the information they tell us it will take 7 business days to make the changes. Then we receive a message stating that we have not sent the proper information. We have asked several times for someone to call us however we do not get a call back and when we call them we just get the same run around. Any suggestions? We have paid all of our fees but now our auto payment is going to expire and it will not let us update the information.

Somehow over the years, Intuit has created three different accounts for me, using two different email addresses and the third, my primary email without the .com.One email address ties back to my QBO wholesale account, but has another user (in another state with a last name in common but email is not remotely similar) as a primary contact, including his credit card info. This was noted several years ago and efforts to correct or disassociate me from his account and me from mine have failed.My primary email address will also tie me back to my QBO wholesale accounts and QB payments accounts for 4 clients, but not one major client for whom we provide CFO Services.The third account - my primary email without the .com indicates all my enterprise products dating back to 2015. When I have a payroll reimbursement that comes through, Isplit the transaction into categories. However when I run an expense report it pulls the entire amount and not split into categories. For example: I have an expense for $3000.00 $1500.00 is Software and $1500.00 is Office Supplies....but when I run a report for software....the entire $3000.00 transaction shows up in the report.
When customers pay in advance for six months of use of a product, we record the deposit in a deferred revenue account (Other Current Liabilities). We then use a recurring journal entry to move portions of the payment by debit to the deferred revenue account and a credit to the product account (Income account). This process appears to be standard practice. Yet Quickbooks Online records this as a negative balance in the deferred revenue account, and also reports a negative total in the liabilities section of the balance sheet So for example, a customer buys $10,000 of pretzels to be delivered over 10 months. The bank deposit comes in and we record the $10,000 in the Deferred Revenue Prepaid Pretzels account (A liability account according to the chart of accounts). I tried to restore a backup from the church computer to my personal computer. When I try to open QuickBooks on my personal computer now, it NEVER opens. It just keeps thinking and spinning, and will not open to the login screen. Why? How can this be fixed?
It doesn't show up in the list of accounts. Any ideas on how to get that added? Thanks!
Acuity requires a .csv file but QuickBooks only allows an excel file that combines all customers' first and last names. Problem is, Acuity will not allow 1 name and must have them separated. Does that mean no other option that to editing the file by adding in separate columns and manually copy, paste, delete 1,000 names??? And this is supposed to be able to be fully integrated?
My paid subscription is showing under a no name account in my profile. I added a key word name at the end of the acc I use and need to keep. I NEED HELP. HOPEFULLY I HAVENT CONFUSED ANYONE! PLEASE HELP
