I need to give my CPA access to train me on how to use qb
I originally included PayPal in the QB checking balance. We are using PayPal more now, with daily transactions so I want to use the PayPal connector. This will bring in the PayPal bank balance, so I need to reduce checking by that amount.
I apologize now if I am repeating a question already answered, but I haven't found exactly what I am looking for. I am new to Quickbooks online. Our last billing program was Quickbooks Pro Desktop 2018. I am doing billing/invoicing for an attorney who bills a different hourly rate based on the customer. I don't need all the employee stuff/billable/taxes/time, etc. I bill per customer. In Desktop, I could go into statements charges and see ALL charges per the customer and enter time there as well. What I entered here would be on the statement I sent out to clients and the Court. I can not figure out how to do that with this new online program. Can someone tell me how to do? Thank you.
Keep receiving this infuriating error message daily when I try to log in to Quickbooks Self-Employed. Not sure what the work around is. Tried it on an incognito browser and still no dice. Attaching an example of the error message below.
After attempting to reconcile our main credit card account, it was found that there is suddenly a discrepancy of the beginning balance. I found that there are 4 system generated journal entries on this card due to sub-accounts that were deactivated. Here's the new issue: My predecessors set up sub accounts for our main credit card account, one sub account for each individual credit card per employee. While this isn't necessarily the way I would have gone since the reconciliations will only reflect on the main account, the sub accounts do not affect the balance sheets in anyway so we've made it work. For the sake of simplifying things and maintaining accuracy, a handful of the older credit cards (either expired or employee no longer employed) were deactivated. If I re-activate these subaccounts, will this resolve this discrepancy?What alternatives to I have as opposed to deleting these credit card subaccounts as they're no longer active? Please let me

It was easy enough in account management to set up TFA, such as text msg to mobile phone. But I could not see how to add a secondary method.
How do I remove the New top search bar (attached)? There is already a search bar on the left panel, and the new bar scrunches the screen down, so there is less room to view what is important.

I have been utilizing the Projects feature for the last year. Recently I have become unable to convert Sub-Customers to Projects. In PROJECTS using the drop down to CONVERT FROM SUB-CUSTOMER, the sub-customer is not included in the list. I have also tried creating a NEW PROJECT and linking the existing estimate. I have attempted/confirmed the following: The IS SUB-CUSTOMER box is checked. BILL WITH PARENT box is checked. Both the parent customer and sub-customer are active. The customer name and project name are exact and correct. Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions!
Good afternoon,My problem is 2 fold. For some reason all the invoices I'm sending are erroring out; however, the customers are receiving the emails. This is exhausting as it happens multiple times for the same emails. If I pick "Dismiss" I get the attached message. The instructions neither explain how to get to the window in the image to follow the instructions, nor does that pop-up or any other appear. How do I fix these issues please? Best regards,Renee

Hi, There is a new interface for managing accounts in the chart of accounts. This new interface is an improvement over the old one but you CANNOT SEARCH BY ACCOUNT NUMBER when configuring a parent account. Our company has 1000's of accounts so it makes it almost impossible to use without being able to search by account number. All other account form inputs allow autocomplete by account number.

Hello, We use Square at our ice cream shop and have DoorDash integrated with Square. We use Commerce Sync to pass data from Square to QuickBooks. All of the sales tax information passed to QB flawlessly before we added DoorDash. When we added DoorDash, all of the DoorDash transactions come with a new tax called "DoorDash Tax" in Square. It's the same rate as our Square tax rate, but it records it as a separate tax rate. This caused the integration to fail, as QuickBooks Online cannot handle multiple tax rates, at least that's what CommerceSync said. Now I have to manually add sales tax for all my Square transactions as a journal entry. Has anyone else solved this problem more elegantly?
I converted some Desktop clients to QBO and set them up with a free trial. Now I want to let them fall under my Pro Advisor subscription discount. Is that possible to do if they pay with their own credit card?
Not all my invoice or cost are showing as an income or expense when I use the projects. My profit margins are not correct as the some invoices are not recorded as income. I have checked the items and they are all connected to an income account so I don't know what the issue is.
How can I fix the 2022 Square integration app errors
The "contacts" section on camps.intuit has been displaying this error for over a week. Is there anything I can do on my side to get rid of this error? Error remains despite logging in on different PCs and browsers.
