I was on the phone with support and kept getting passed from Online help to Time Help. No one seemed to have an answer. Most of our users are having no problems, but several are.
On a Windows PC, the file would be located on the C: drive but I can't find an answer as to where it's located on a Mac since there is no C: drive. Thank you!

Then, when I click the help icon, it goes to an error page! I then have the option to log into the support center, after which I can go back to the self employed login and it will let me in. But that is very roundabout and inconvenient.
Hi- I’m new to the QB community. I haven’t seem to get the answer I’m looking for from Google or intuit. I run a plumbing company. I’m trying to enter material purchases from personal receipts and vendor invoices for individual jobs in order to track job costs. I don’t bill the customer for material items since it’s included in the bid or contract before we perform the work. I don’t want to enter each individual item on the receipt if I don’t have too. I don’t keep inventory because it’s just not necessary plus that could be very time consuming and the material items are not always the same. We purchase materials as we get jobs. I would like to run a job cost/classification report once finished to see if I’m bidding jobs appropriately. Thanks in advance!
I also wish I could attach a screen capture inside this community request using the mobile app! For example on my iPhone Homescreen the QB icon shows 12 messages or notifications available. But going into the app there is no UI to know what the 12 notifications are or how to read them or clear them or mark them as resolved or delete them. They just keep piling up.
I am trying to export my QuickBooks Desktop company files to QuickBooks Online. When I try to connect to QuickBooks, it does not connect. It is an old PC and very slow. How can I solve this problem?

There does not seem to be a way to do it. I tried clicking on the box that says, "You don't have any documents here yet. Add some files to get started." but nothing happens when I click on that box.

Hi there. I am new to Pro Connect Tax and QB Accountant. I am wondering when purchasing returns from Pro Connect, how should I account for them in QB Accountant? As inventory assets? Purchases? Also, is QB Accountant/Pro Connect a depreciable software asset for tax purposes?
cannot find the 'manage' tab in quickbooks to get started
I manually generated an invoice for a previously received amount. How do I show the invoice as received without it adding the amount again in Quickbooks online balance. Match does not seem to work for this since the invoice was manually generated.
