Good Morning; My bank, Chase, only maintains access to my data in QBO format for two years but I need to enter older data that is only available in .PDF format. The best I can figure out is to cut and paste from the .PDF into excel, go though and clean up the data by separating a single column into multiple columns then recombining it on a row by row basis. Once that is done I would the purchase third party software to convert the .XLS file to a .QBO file and finally import it into Quickbooks for categorization and reconciliation. I have two questions: 1. Is there a better workflow for this?2. Is there anyone that does this for clients? Thanks,Matt

hoping someone can help. I was on the phone today with quickbooks payment support about my account for over an hour and we cannot figure this out. Recently I had to change our deposit account from our checking to our savings account. Our customer pay ACH payments via bank transfers through intuit. These deposits have gone into our checking account as the EXACT amount the customer has paid for years now. The quickbooks fee would then come out separately. This would make it easy for me to match payments under the banking tab because the deposits in the bank matched the deposits in quickbooks. Our quickbooks stopped depositing funds into our checking account because they said our bank stopped payment on a deposit. Therefore that haulted a large amount of ACH payments from coming through. We are waiting on a letter from the bank stating this issue is rectified before quickbooks will allow the payments to go back to our checking account. In the meantime, I switched the deposit
Can missing transaction be specifically requested to be transferred from the bank?
My company credit card has a cash back rewards program. I just took that cash back and applied it to my account as a credit (lower my next CC bill). How do I enter that cash back credit in Quickbooks?
When we first started using quickbooks our own bank account was not linked, so some of our initial deposits are in some quickbooks bank. I want them transferred to our own bank.
Setting up bank feeds for an existing bank account in Quickbooks so we can import transactions and do what they refer to as "matching" transactions that may already be in there to avoid duplications. My question is if you've done this before do you use $0 as your starting balance and then move everything over to the new Bank Feeds account in QB? Otherwise, if you use a starting balance from your statement if I'm correct you'd be double stating your bank balance. Trying to save time by importing bank & cc transactions so it's not as manual.
Hello All. I am new to using Quickbooks online and have starting Reconciling my books. I have a total of 3 accounts that i use, checking, savings, and a paypal account. I also will transfer payments to a personal account for one of my contractors and I transfer between all 3. I am a little confused on how to properly account for the transfers. For example I transfer $300 from savings to the checking when i am adding from my register am i add, match, or transfer? It seems when i Transfer it throws off the banking and savings reconcile. I know this is probably a stupid question but i want to make sure i am doing everything correctly. i hope i explained myself clearly. I hope you all can help. Thank You!

Hello, When I link a bank account in QBO, it creates a new G/L account. How do I link to an existing G/L (checking) account instead ending up with two checking accounts? thanks
Hi, I have two business checking accounts. I sometimes move money by check between those two business checking account. How should I categorize those transactions? Is it okay to categorize as "Shareholder's Equity: Distributions"?
Is there a way to customize how transactions are entered when using bank feeds? For example, adding a column for Class, using items vs. accounts, adding a column for memo and possibly customer? I love this feature for importing credit cards but many times have to edit once they have been imported.
I need to unreconcile an entire month. Is there a reason I cannot do this myself? I feel it unnecessary to contact and pay my accountant to do this for me when I own the company. Please advise. Thanks!
i have a deposit that i reconciled in 2/23 for $27k but the checks were not reconciled. how can i undo the $27k that was brought over by the bank & add in the checks
Hi, I got a notice that I need to update my bank feed connection to my Chase credit card account, and I tried following the directions posted here (https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/bank-connectivity/refresh-connection-express-web-connect-online/L29kw7xd7_US_en_US), but I can't find "Chase Bank (ALL) – New" as a choice when I search for banks.
Is the Lowe's 4Pros card not supported by QBO? The only Lowe's cards that show up in the drop box are Lowe's Commercial Card (Synchrony) and the Lowe's Consumer Credit Card.
