I have 2 BOA credit cards that need to be subaccounts to the main account. All three accounts have already been setup to send info to QB Online. When I try to make them subaccounts under "chart of accounts", QB won't let me because they are already linked to QB.
When I linked the new bank account I got a verication code from the bank texted to the correct phone number. When the account showed successfully linked there was a final confirmation button and it is trying to text a code to the wrong phone number. My number is correct in the QBO settings. The bank insists this is a quickbooks error. What do I do?
In the Bank Register, they are all showing as Deposit under the Ref No/Type column.
I'd love to have everything in one spot organized. I am needing to categorize my 2021 bank statements and apple card for self employment deductions.

I recently updated my Chase credit cards to the OAuth download format. No real problems updating the accounts to Chase Bank (All) New. Prior to the change I could sync all accounts from a bank at the same time by selecting Sync all for this bankWith the new OAuth I have update each account manually. With over 20 employee Chase credit cards this takes a lot more time. Our employees also have AMEX cards and have been instructed not to use their Chase cards until this is resolved. Am I missing something or is this "improvement" something that will stop us from using credit cards that use the OAuth system? Option to Sync with all other banks Sync all for this bank is not available with the New Chase Bank Accounts

Some of my connected accounts show recent transactions, but the most important one only shows through 2/22 (and it's 8/22).
I inadvertently created two business accounts under the same business. How do I combine the accounts?
I connected to the Shopify app at the request of my boss thinking it would help with our reports. Long story short, I didn't need the App connection, and now my P&L is showing way too much for the Shopify account. I assume this is due to duplicate entries. How can I only delete whatever the Shopify app created?
After entering a new transaction, attempted to change the single line item transaction TYPE to PERSONAL from BUSINESS. Inadvertently checked the box to select the entire column which changed thousands of correctly categorized line items to personal. Is there was way to undo this change or revert to a previous version? It looks like some of the reports are still showing some business transactions at this point but it may not be that way for long. I have not made any attempts to change any other line items or anything else since the error. Fingers crossed someone out there has a good solution to this. Thanks for your help.
Hello all-I have a member who paid an 8K invoice for the company but will take the credit quarterly against their homeowners dues. How do i enter the journal entry to reflect R&M expense of 8K and give him a credit he can use against his QTR member's dues. Thank you!
I have re-linked successfully, repeatedly, but still get the same error. QuickBooks is not registering the info from my linked accounts.
It was a partial refund on a purchase at a store.
In the sample company, the bank feed is always at -$3,621.93. But when the 25 transactions in the list are cleared (by matching & adding), the QBO balance is -$544.02. Why is there a variance? The sample company is to teach people who are new to QBO, so it seems like the Bank balance & QBO balance should match up and reconcile when all the transactions are cleared, but the two balances are very far from each other. I don't understand why?
I use a specific credit card for transactions tied to a trust account. When I pay the monthly balance of this card I need the transaction to debit this specific A/P Trust account balance. However, QBO will match the transaction from the correlating bank account and I can't figure out how to reduce or debit the AP account without causing a duplicate action on the cash account. Any ideas?
My bank feed does not compare to my quickbooks balance anymore? It used to show both and it was a helpful comparison between reconciliations but now I don't see it?
A wire sent a vendor was returned by the bank and deposited back to our account in June. I entered it as a deposit to that vendor's account, which posted to the bank account. It was reconciled with the bank statement. But now when I look at that transaction on the vendor record, it shows up as not deposited... when it has already cleared in the reconciliation process. How can this be?
Quickbooks Desktop: how do I reconcile a downloaded ACH payment from Bank Feeds if the ACH contains multiple vendor payments? Thank you!
When opening a new account, our electric utility company charged $408.00 as security. I created an "Other Asset" account called Security Deposit and posted that line item on the bill when I paid it. Here it is a year later and the company moved the Security Deposit to our monthly bill as a credit. For the past few months, the bill has been "paid" by that credit. We stopped service and there is $236.48 remaining of credit, which the utility company returned to us as a check.I need to do a few things and I don't know how to make it all work:1 - Make the $408 "Other Asset" zero.2- Pay the open utility bills with that $408 "credit" so the ending credit is reduced to $236.48.3- Show that the $236.48 was paid by the utility company and deposited into my checking account.I am having difficulty basically turning an "Other Asset" into a "Credit". I looked at using a General Journal entry but that doesn't allow to post the monies against the open bills. Thanks
Loan Manager, within Banking tab of Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020 is not accessible since recent quickbooks automatic update. We have contacted Quickbooks and Intuit. Support staff sets up tier escalation to resolve, says this is a common problem, assigns a case number and say we will receive a call. No one calls. When we call back in, no one can reference a case number or look up our communications and we are told to start over.
I use Clockify to track my time and it claims to integrate with QBO. I have already synced them and although it shows up as "connected to Quickbooks" in my Clockify account, there are no time records in QBO.
How do I correct a bank register if it is wrong? My QB checking register and my actual bank register are off by miles. How can I manually make the adjustment to the QB checking register? I know the exact amount they are off by.
