Saying my b of a account I took out $3075.00 but I never entered this can you tell me about this transaction please
Since the last update, while trying to import transactions from my bank, the import isn't working the way it did previously. And now it is importing 2100,or so, transactions going back to 2011. I know all of these old ones are in my file already.
I've been doing it by adding full amount of check and then reconciling difference so transactions match, but the cash that was withdrawn is then categorized as an expense and I don't think that's correct.
When I setup my envelopes I skipped the section where you can associate a bank account with the envelope. I guess I thought that it would just all roll up to the main Quickbooks Cash account, but apparently it does not. I don't see a way to go back and associate an account to the envelopes I've already setup so I guess I'll have to make new envelopes, transfer the money to those, and delete the old envelopes. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding what to name the fictitious bank accounts? Should I just repeat the same name as the main Quickbooks Cash account or name them the same thing as the envelope name? Also, what to do with account numbers and routing numbers (leave them blank, I guess)? Anyway, would appreciate your thoughts and best practice recommendations! Thanks, Graham
Received email notice that online payment for an invoice had been received, the invoice now shows paid, but the payment doesn’t appear in transactions, and is not reflected in my bank balance
After a QB update, my account suddenly shows a $500 discrepancy and does not show any of 2020's reconciliations. I can print a 2020 P&L, and all is there. However this issue is preventing me from moving forward with 2021 reconciliations. The reconciliation page shows last reconciliation date as December 31, 2019. No records the 2020 reconciliations I used for my taxes. I saw here a Case number had been assigned for an issue with QB $500 discrepancy. However that case did not mention losing an entire years worth of reconciliations. Hoping for some QB GURU insight! Thanks!
Please provide steps that actually exist in the current QBO version. Thanks for any help.
are they duplicated??

Good day - I have several clients who have moved from QBs desktop to QBs Online. Several of these clients started using the bank account link feature with their QB bank account to allow them to upload all of their transactions direct from their banks. Additionally, these clients have set Rules so that certain vendors automatically are assigned a specific expense account. All pretty normal stuff. What I have found is, if I use a CSV file to upload new transactions and/or transactions that are missing in QBs for whatever reason, Quickbooks at the same time, will import several past transactions that had been deleted. Here are the common parameters I'm experiencing with each: 1. I'm uploading new transactions using a CSV file through the Banking Home / upload CSV file feature. "New" as in, not in Quickbooks currently.2. After I run through the upload CSV file process, I am locating the uploaded transactions and selecting "add" the transa

Does anyone know of an efficient (not manual) way to find transactions at the end of the month that have not been cleared from Undeposited in QBO? I spend way too much time manually trying to find which line items in the account add up to the balance of the account at the end of the month. I've looked for a report, but don't see one. There should be a way to pull a report that shows the outstanding transactions that have not been cleared from undeposited. Thanks!
