QB gave excuses of "If you haven't logged in for the last few weeks, this can happen". Or after one tech described the CSV download process, forgot to have me delete and save a version without Balance and it corrupted an entire month of transactions. The next support tech told me how to save proper CSV file and then suggested that I pay for QB Live to help straighten out THEIR incompetence. I figure that if a manual download works (When saved properly) that it must be the automated handshake with Wescom that is corrupted.

Help! I am lost and confused by what appears to be a strange limitation. Scenario: I am setting everything up for a client: Company A. Company A is one of many companies owned by: Parent Company. All business processes for Company A are owned by employees of Company A, however the system admins are all employees of Parent Company. The employees of Parent Company are essentially tasked with adding/managing users of various systems and not with actually using any of those systems' business functions. We have them set up on Desktop Premier right now. Bank Feed is set up for their one bank account. I need an employee of Company A to process the income bank feeds daily. But apparently you can not access the bank feeds function without the credentials of the Intuit Account's Primary Admin? Am I missing something? I'm trying to connect some existing accounts in QBO to their corresponding bank accounts online....i'm following the instructions and it APPEARS while I'm doing so that it will connect to my existing accounts but then it creates new ones. I also can't merge the two (old plus duplicated) because it is telling me I can't merge two accounts that are connected to the bank. I'm searching in here for solutions and see this is a huge problem in the recent past, has it been solved? If not can I get a workaround? Thanks -
I reconciled one of the credit cards on our account. The statement ending date was 5/11/24. When I clicked on the date, I chose the 11th not realizing the calendar was currently showing June. I didn't realize until I went to save the reconciliation report that I had chosen 6/11/24 instead of 5/11/24. How can I correct it?
I have been copying My existing Company's Data from a quickbooks online US to an international account as the first account was a Quickbooks Online US account when I first set it up. The Taxation from the U.S to the rest of the world does not match. We have Vat tracking on purchases (Bills).
The import summary created for the import includes one less online account, 6 more vendors, and 9 fewer transactions. Profit and Loss and Balance sheet numbers match. How can I best determine the difference?
When exporting an .iif file from QB online to QB desktop it is substituting check numbers for direct deposit checks. You have to manually go in after it is imported and remove the check number. I have seen this as a known issue. Is QB Online going to fix this issue from 2019? I have upgraded to the latest QB Desktop. Having to do anything manually on this issue is not a fix. QB online wants to blame QB Desktop and vice versa...so frustrating.

We are trying to set up Bank Feed Rules and for certain accounts would like it to be automatically marked as 'Billable', instead of having to manually check the box when adding details to each (un)recognized transaction. We are using QB Desktop Enterprise 2024. Any tips or advice appreciated! Thanks!
I linked a credit card account to my QBO banks and it asked when I wanted to import transactions from. I chose from 1/1/2024 and it went through the importing money in, importing money out, then gave me a success message. I do not see any transactions from 2024 however. There is nothing in "For Review", "categorized" or "excluded" tabs, and I have all dates selected. I also tried filtering using just "this year" for the date, but had the same result. I also do not see any of the transactions in the register for that account. I have tried it both regular and private window in Firefox, as well as Google Chrome in incognito.
When I'm categorizing transactions in QBO, for a credit card account, when there is a purchase made, should it show up as a minus, or a plus? This credit card does not properly connect online and automatically import transactions, so I must manually import them from .CSV. I'm given the option to reverse the transactions, meaning that purchases show as (-) and payments show as positive. I'm not sure which to use. Considering a $0.00 balance on a credit card account, if a $100 purchase is made, should the balance in quickbooks chart of accounts now be $100.00 or should it now be -$100.00?The attached image shows a purchase I made.
Im running a e-commerce and have an integration with webgiliy. I was able to get bank statements but uploading it and trying to reverse transaction confuses me. E commerce comes in as a AR and I want to close with bank payment but it shows in account undeposited funds? also there’s transaction I have to assign, but in doing it 1 at a time and then when I try to delete it it says no transaction recorded or something like that.
