We need a PCI AOC for Intuit QuickBooks online
Hello! We use QB Desktop for all of our in house employees as well as our temps, but is there a way that I can create a separate QB account (desktop or online) with the same EIN? We have one of our inhouse employee run everybody's payroll, but I would like to be able to create a new account for just in house employees for pay rate confidentiality between them.
Hello,I forgot to add in the company contributed health insurance to my employee's paychecks. This won't affect the total amount they receive because it's company contributed, so they get the credited amount separately. Is there a way to edit this into old checks for our records? I was able to on Desktop in the past, but it seems that Quickbooks Online doesn't allow paycheck edits.
The only thing I know to do is to keep starting a new discussion every day until someone at QuickBooks helps me. I've spoken with at least a dozen different folks at QuickBooks over the last 3 weeks and STILL have not found anyone that can help me get the Alabama Overtime Exemption working correctly. I spoke with a lady for 2 hours on Friday, January 12th. She re-ran updates, re-builds and re-starts and still was not able to get it to work. After she spent 2 hours wasting my time, she told me the "back-end" programmers were still working on the problem and had not yet fixed it. Why waste my time when she knew it wasn't going to work???? She PROMISED she would be calling me back on Monday at 11am, and if not Monday, then Tuesday at 11am. Big shocker - I got no call either day. So now it's Wednesday - no update, still not working, and I've had to run my 2nd payroll of 2024 without the proper calculations for overtime for my hourly employees

I am starting a new company and would like to transfer only my current employees to the new company. Can I do that?
I just spent 2+ hours on the phone with support due to the Quickbooks Export payroll feature being broken. Support could not help only added me to an on-going case. Is there anyone else out there who has separate files for QBO bookkeeping and what they call a "stand-alone" payroll file? If so, please help. I am unable to import from the stand alone payroll to the bookkeeping file. I would prefer not to have to re-enter all the data for several months for many employees. Does anyone have a workaround for this issue? I have had issues with Intuit and the payroll services in the past. They seem to want customer satisfaction but then they produce software that just does NOT work. Perhaps the answer is going to another software.
I have set up my employees with a new leave time for the Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. I did not set it up until late January, so their accruals do not reflect the hours they worked in the first pay period of 2024 (we pay semi-monthly). Can someone help me with correcting these balances?
In Quickbooks under our 'wages' on our P&L, there seem to be duplicate transactions for where the money was withdrawn from our bank and where the payroll check itself (we utilize direct deposit through QBO) was withdrawn from the bank, showing our wage cost as almost double what it should be. Is this something anyone has experience on?
We would like to pay taxes every payroll (2 weeks), instead of quarterly. Is it possible to setup QuickBooks to pay payroll taxes every 2 weeks? (instead of quarterly)? If yes, can this be setup as scheduled recurring payment?
I added the new AL OT withholding exemption payroll item, but when I go to write a 2024 check it is still taxing OT. Help.
This has been for the last few months they tell me its all fixed and then it happens again 5-6 hour phone calls
Hello QuickBooks Community, I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out because I've encountered an issue with my QuickBooks Online account regarding the time tracking feature. About 15 days ago, I was able to easily select between regular hours and overtime hours when inputting data into my weekly time sheet. However, I've noticed that this option seems to have disappeared from the interface recently. I heavily rely on this feature to accurately track and manage employee hours, especially considering the importance of distinguishing between regular and overtime hours for payroll purposes. I've searched through the settings and options within QuickBooks Online but haven't been able to find a solution or any information regarding why this feature may have been removed or how to restore it. Could someone please advise me on how to regain access to this option or provide any insights into why it might have disappeared? I would greatly appreciate
Why does Quickbooks struggle with sending out my company's W-2 forms on time. It seem like every year we wonder if we will ever get them and then have to end up printing them from Quickbooks. It's February 13th and no one has received their W-2's yet. I wonder if Quickbooks will pay the $60 per employee penalty for sending them late. I guess they have someone that stands at the Pitney Bowes machine and prints postage dated for January 31 so it shows mailed out on time.
I use QB Premier Plus Nonprofit Edition 2024. I am trying to send direct deposit for the first time and it states it's sending 100 paychecks with pay stubs and 10 for direct deposit. I am only direct depositing 10 checks. The summary is showing that it's sending pay checks back to October 2023, but all show $0 as they were paid with paper checks. It won't allow me to change the 100 checks and I'm uncertain what will occur if I send all. Has anyone else encountered this?
how do i enable this box???
I have a new employee, that has been trying to get logged into T-sheets, but I can't get logged in! I have tried to login for him, as well, and it keeps saying "We didn't find any companies for this account." I have sent him both links on quickbooks online, and even tried making a whole new account! Please help!
