My manager gets paid time off accrued each pay period. I paid her 8 hours a few pay periods ago but did not look to see if it auto deducted or if I have to manually change that in her employee profile.

Today is Jan 1. The effective date for paid family and medical leave is today, but the only option I have in the drop down menu is April 1. Is there a way to change the effective date to match the notice from the state?
Hello, For the last payroll I ran there was an issue with three of the employee's checks. QuickBooks online payroll generated their pay, took out their taxes, etc. and came up with the correct net pay. However, when these employees' paychecks were put in the register the amount they were entered into the register was their net pay + employer taxes + employee taxes. Example:Gross pay: 1097.91employee tax total: 182.91employer tax total (not deducted from paycheck): 83.18other deductions: 210.56NET PAY: 704.44 QuickBooks payroll shows 704.44 for net pay, check was cut for 704.44, etc. On my bank register however, this employee's paycheck item appears as: 970.53This amount is equal to net pay + employer taxes + employee taxes When I void the payroll item, QuickBooks creates a corresponding credit in the amount of, you guessed it, 704.44 which causes an ADDITIONAL problem. When I run the check again everything appears to be correct on the payroll
I have not paid employees in Quickbooks in 2024 so there is no payroll history to enter. However whenever I try to complete this step I get the error "Something went wrong. Give us a minute and try again". How do I resolve this?

Has Quickbooks updated the West Virginia unemployment threshold to $9,521 yet for 2024? Mine still shows $9,000. The calculations for unemployment are going to be wrong for all West Virginia payrolls.
I cannot change the status nor select the manager or anything else under "Edit" for Employment details. I always receive the following when I attempt to edit anything in Employment details "Something went wrong on our end. Please refresh the page and try again later." Very frustrating.
Cannot enter Massachusetts UI rates for 2024, the system only allows entries for 2023. Anyone have a solution to this?
