My work needs me to fill out some W-9 information for payroll because they're switching to Quickbooks, but when I fill it out with my information, it won't let me click next. I used Google's autofill, and don't know what backup withholding is, so I didn't check it, but I filled out everything else. Does anyone know why it would do this and if there's a fix or workaround for my employer? Or is this a bug that Intuit needs to correct? Thanks.

payroll keeps coming up when i log in i need the main quickbooks page
Need help if anyone knows how to enter this into Online Payroll. This amount is included in Box 14 as Housing Exclusion and reduces the box 1 reportable income. It is not deducted from their salary as they are paid throughout the year.
I've tried resynching, hard closing, and even turning the tablet itself on and off. What else can I do to try and fix this? The app works on the phone but not on the tablet.
We are using QuickBooks time online and QuickBooks online.We have QB time tracking the time gained and used but when approving for the payroll we have an issue bc the vac or sick time used is trying to be taxed. All salary is in clergy housing cash because they qualify for that, but it makes a mess when tracking all the sick, vacation , and holiday time to be paid.
We are passing off a client to their new accountant. The new accountant has asked us to send him the direct deposit PIN that we used for the client. Is this something they really need? We've never had to send it to any other accountants when clients have gone elsewhere, and we've never needed to request a PIN from our new client's former accountants. He asked us to remove the client from our payroll subscription which we did. I don't want to withhold information if he does really need it to continue submitting the direct deposits, but it's not something we've had to do before. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!
Is there a way to customize the Timesheet? I need to see all of the payroll item column but do not use the class or service item column and would love for the customer job column to print wider.

Hi I have quickbooks desktop. How can I record the payroll liabilities in quickbooks. Our payroll is run outside quickbooks, our payroll accountant provides us with the figures and she process payments. Now we are reconciling our payroll account using our bank statments and we see the payment to EDD payroll liabilites and now we have to record them in quickbooks. Thank you in advance
Looking for feedback from the community surrounding a multi-member LLC (3 owners) that are performing work and therefore would like to track hours worked. The goal of the initial tracking is to assist with measuring how accurately we are estimating jobs. Given we are owners/members - not employees - would trying to track our time in the timesheets module in QB cause reporting or systematic issues when it comes to end of year financials? (a/k/a - we do not want to negatively impact any financial statements to show we have employees, as we do not. We are owner/members looking to track time). Lastly, why do some of the posts recommend setting yourself up as a vendor when you are an owner of a company? Then other posts advise against it. Thank you.
I have one employee that is not syncing between QB desktop and QB Time. The rest of the employees sync. How can I force them to sync?
I go to my archive and only can load 2022 but when I go into filings 2023 does not show up. I have an old employee who needs it to purchase a home.
