I have tried importing data from the HMRC Basic Tools app but I get the message "You are trying to upload an unsupported version of your data. Please try a version from at least 2019." The HMRC app successfully creates the export.xml file, but when I try and import it into QB I get the above error message. I have the latest version of the app (11/08/2021) and the file is later than 2019. Any ideas?
Hi, I have intuit quickbooks for a medium size business with 20 PAYE employees. It appears QB underpaid some of our new employees by c.1-2 days of salary due to the way QB calculates the first month of pay. e.g. Employee 1 is on a per annum salary and joined the company on 12th July 2021. For the month of July the employee worked a total of 15 working days (Mon - Fri) at 37.5 hours per week. Therefore total hours worked should be 112.5 hours. For some reason QB has calculated the number of hours worked as 104.83 instead. I've done reverse engineering to arrive back at the payroll sum and realized QB is applying a ratio of (20 days (including weekends)/31 days (total no of days in July). This is bizarre and incorrect as employees do not work weekends. The start date input and the number of hours per week is also correct. The per hour salary is also calculated correctly on individual pay slips. How can I fix this error so new joiners are paid correct

hi, when I run payroll on QuickBooks advanced online I get this error: fatal: 1046 - Authentication Failure. The supplied user credentials failed validation for the requested service. | Gateway I read this article on the community site and followed the steps: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/employees-and-payroll/rti-submission-error/01/866791 None of these fix the issue. I can log in fine on HMRC and I've copied and pasted the login details and password to ensure there are no errors and nothings fixing the pay run issue. Has nyone any suggestions that might help? thanks, Ken
One of our employees is off sick and im trying to pay him for his first week (we pay weekly). As SSP is 96.35 per week I would expect the Mon, Tues and wed to be unpaid and therefor he would receive £96.35/ a 5 day week x 2 qualifying days = £38.54.Payroll has calculated £55.06.I cant work out why that amount. I thought maybe because we pay a week in arrears but the pay reference period has been inputted so im at a loss?
I’ve looked at Tradify but it’s going to cost £38 but does not do gas/oil forms
i accidentally used an incorrect email address to set up my Quickbooks. How do I change it? The one I used doesn't even exist!
i cannot sync the pension due to the extra details on the pay slip
I’ve gone through my inputted sales receipts and paid invoices manually and it’s more than what netbooks is calculating…
Hi there, How do I input my employees' bank details to actually get their cash to them? I've run payroll, submitted payslips etc, but can't seem to actually send them any cash. Any help very welcome.
I am using QB Online and have an accountant who processes a payroll for myself within the business. Currently, I am not taking wages from the business and I wondered if there was a correct way of attributing the wages to the directors loan account without having to pay myself and then transferring the money back to the business and marking the income transaction as a directors loan? Is there a correct way to do it without transferring the money out of the company bank account? Thanks
JOURNALS TO THE WAGES EXPENSES, EMPLOYER PENSION AND EMPLOYER NAT INS ARE NOT ADJUSTING THE CUMULATIVE BALANCES SHOWN AT TOP OF PAYROLL SCREEN. ONLY ADJUSTING IF AUTO UPDATED WHEN PAYROLL IS RUN. IS THERE ANY WAY OF UPDATING THIS?
I have been using Standard Payroll on QBO. Will the software notify me when an employee becomes eligible for auto-enrollment to our NEST pension scheme (which I already have set up)? Thanks.
