2018 they were not to have any deductions took off or vacation pay added.I need a lump sum and it will only let me do a bi-weekly amount.
If I process my PR usually on Wednesday for a Friday drop, with the holiday on the 31 does this change things or NOT?
There are no negative amounts entered and I have checked the employee information to see if the pay per hour and the deduction amounts are correct.
I've changed parameters, salary amounts, and everytime I get the same error and nothing gets processed in the payroll. Any help would be appreciated.
How does QB handle the TD1 claim amounts for 27 pays in 2020? Will it automatically recognize there will be 27 pays in a year and adjust the claim amounts accordingly? If QB does not adjust the claim amount, employees will be short-taxed in 2020 or the TD1 exemptions will have to be turned off for the 27th pay resulting in additional tax being deducted from the last pay of the year.
We are switching to the Advanced Online Payroll(Canada) from a payroll provider in the new year. Our office manager entered employee info but missed putting in accrued vacation pay. How can we edit this? I can't find an option to change the amount of accrued vacation under the Employee tab. Thanks
We don't allow Vacation Time to be carried over to the next year, so if employees have remaining time they get paid out at the end of the year. At the 1st of the year I want them to have a clean slate, so at what point does QB carry the time over? Is it on January 1st or is it the first payday in January? Ideally I would like to pay them out their remainder hours on the January 3rd paycheck which covers (12/16-12/27). Thanks!
