Each time I try to import an iif file I get the message that all the lists and transactions have failed. The Review Now button does not open any window to help. The irony of this is: 1) If I ignore the warnings and just import the file then all is well, and; 2) Quickbooks know about this problem from when I was a tester in its Beta phase and QB have done nothing about it. That was over a year ago. They have been sent sample iif files, promised to escalate the problem and done zilch about it. Does anyone at Quickbooks care that their 2018 sofrtware does not function correctly?

My wife has been using Quickbooks online all day today to catch up on stuff. Was literally making the last few entries and was presented with the login screen. She logged back in and there are no entries to be seen. About two hundred entries seem to be lost. Tried to save a little earlier and it came up with some message about reconciling but wouldn’t allow her to save and then a little later logged her out. she was in tears when I got home and literally shaking. is that a whole day wasted or can this be recovered at all?
Hi, I am a clothing shop retailer and have been trading for over 30 years. we have always used Money98 for our accounting, manually entering all transactions and then submitting the VAT return on the HMRC website. Obviously I need to do the MTD now, I've left it late but have now joined QBO Essentials. I dont know how to add my daily takings though, I only want to add the total received at the end of the day. The actual over the counter sales that are made up of Cash and Card payments. They are all 20% vatable, I dont want them to tie up with my banking just yet, I just want to know how to declare them for the VAT quarter. Any advice would be great, thanks
I've been using Quickbooks Pro 6 for about 20 years, and have recently installed it under Windows 10. Although everything functions ok, the software keeps asking me to register the product. Each time It accepts the registration details as correct, but then asks for it again a couple of days later!I decided to take a look at the latest desktop version, but have only been able to find a trial download of Quickbooks UK 2015. Having installed the trial version I've not been able to open my existing company file and get the following message - "This company file is too old for Quickbooks to upgrade directly"I'm not sure how to proceed at this stage. If I can't fix my existing software issue of repeated registration requests, or trial or use my existing data in latest software, then I'll have to start from scratch.Hope someone can advise. :)
getting error code when trying to update....Quickbooks 2010 R2 problems need to know how to update saved data from R2 to R5, my quickbooks 2010 wont update on windows 7 computer just states errors???, bought new computer and trying to move files onto that. Just states can not do unless update from R2 to R5??? but nothing happens when press ' update', so stalemate, any ideas out there please how can fix!?
Hi i hope you can help. I tick the online paypal payment tickbox on first/original invoice, send it to the customer and they pay online method just fine. When I set up a recurring invoice for the same customer, the recurring invoice screen does not provide the same tickbox option for online payment, therefore I have to assume it is running off the selection made in the first/original invoice. However, the recurring invoices are being sent out automatically by QB to customers without the online payment option on their recurring invoices. Why? And how do I fix this?
I've edited a Quickbooks invoice template for our own needs but am having several problems. These are: 2 capital letters appearing in our address although not in template editor Customer address only 3 lines - all addresses are longer than that Our address, 'VAT Invoice' text and customer address are not lined up. Our address is further to the left. Not able to set spacing between addresses or sections so all information is squashed together at the top. I need to have an order number on invoices. When I add this to 'display' in the editor, it puts it under the addresses rather than under the date & invoice number. There doesn't seem to be an option to change this. I know I can create & import a template but I would rather not have the hassle. However, I am not happy sending out amateur looking invoices. Am I doing something wrong or is Quickbooks really this limited? Mike.
I have already imported a custom template for my invoice which works well. However, I would like to add a further column with 'per unit' information. For example, this column would tell the customer how many screws are in the packet they are purchasing 'Qty = 1' 'Per Unit = 500'.Is this possible?

Hi, I have connected my bank account but whenever I log out, when I next log in again the connection is lost and I need to re-connect my bank account. It's really starting to bug me! Is there a way I can ensure my bank account remains connected? (This is a problem for the app and the website). ThanksR
