My 1099s were rejected by the IRS for an incorrect EIN number. I voided them and resubmitted per Quickbooks instructions. Will Quickbooks let my vendors know that the previous 1099's should be voided? And how can I confirm that the new 1099s were mailed since some of my vendors have not received the new corrected 1099s?
Hi, My customer is using Quickbooks 2024 Pro, Office 365 Exchange, through and Outlook client. When trying to send an invoice by email he gets the following error message: "QB can't complete the current action due to a missing component.You can try again by exiting and restarting your Quickbooks. If you're still having problems, download and run the Print PDF repair tool available here." I have tried everything available on the Hub under the Software tab. I have restarted over and over. I have reinstalled Quickbooks. I looked through Outlook settings and could not find anything related. Searching for answers online has not been encouraging. I'm hoping someone here has an answer. While reviewing bank feed transactions, I accidentally "matched" a transaction in error. Can I delete it, correct it, or download it again from my bank?Also, my check detail screen keeps freezing up. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I view my products by category? I do not have the grouping option in the settings.
How do I close the year in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac? I need to print 1099's but it's showing 2022 as the tax year. I have my first month in tax year reporting as January under My Company. I'm not seeing anywhere else that I can close a year or period.

Customer paid through Quickbooks Online Payment and the Invoice shows as paid. However, how do client account for the payment received through Bank and is in Bank Feed. Should QB payment be deleted and account for the invoice through Bank Feed? Thank You for the help.
There was an erroneous payment posted to a leaseholder and now the 1099-MISC is overstated. It has already been filed through QBO and accepted by the IRS. How can I correct this?

Hello, I have just set up quickbooks online and I have a question about tracking inventory costs and sales. Because it's an antique business I almost never have more than one of the same item. So I don't really want to have to assign each an item number. So, my question is, how do I track costs of inventory and sales of inventory properly? Thank you!
Can anybody advise how to manually enter a 1031 exchange. I have a rental property that was sold. On a balance sheet I track Fixed Assets of Original Cost and Accumulated Depreciation. The property was sold through a Qualified Intermediary and a replacement property purchased. There is some left over amount (boot) as the replacement property value is less than the sold property value. There was a capital gain on the sale. How do I set up the new property to show the gain as an unrealized gain (for tax purposes) and the accumulated depreciation?
