I need to export QB online to QB desktop, however, before doing so I want to confirm that my data online will still be there. Is this a possibility? So I can have both. I want the QB online for invoicing purposes and the QB desktop for preparing financial reports.
Once I prepare international shipment label and fill out the export documentation (UPS) I hit ship, but there is no export docs to be printed. Are they stored somewhere? Only the label is printed. Thx
I created an Accountant’s Copy change file from QuickBooks Desktop 2020 that saved without any issues. When the client imported the changes, it imported for a while and then failed with a critical error that there was a corrupted transaction link and that he needed to run the Rebuild tool on the original file. He did that and it said there were no errors, but when he tried to open the new QBW file, it said that he couldn’t open the file because there was an error with the accountant’s copy. He sent me a live copy to use to try to import the changes for him, but I had the same issue. I reviewed the log that shows the Verify tool data and import of the Accountant’s Copy, but I don’t see any detail about which transaction link is corrupted. I restored the original backup again and ran the Verify tool, which has no issues. I ran the File Doctor on the copy where it says that I can’t open it. It said there were no issues. A few days ago the + button to open multiple tabs within the QBO desktop app for accountants stopped working. This feature is described in this article: "Download and use the QuickBooks Online desktop app" in QB help and in multiple other items of Intuit propaganda. I relied heavily on this feature. Is this happening to anyone else? If so, are they bringing it back? What on earth could the rationale be for taking away this incredibly useful functionality? It is the only reason I use the app vs accessing QBO through a browser.
Does anyone know where I can purchase a monthly desktop version of QB Premier for Windows for 1 user. We are a small business but do not like the online version at all! I see that in Canada I can purchase for $60/month but don't see that option for the US. I only see a version that costs $1,600 a year which is CRAZY expensive for a small business with no employees. Help!
Why does quickbooks desktop keep pulling in the wrong company file?
I'm a cash-basis service business taxed on Schedule C, and I purchased a new computer for my business - under the $2500 de minimus to not have to capitalize the purchase. I bought the computer with my personal credit card connected to the place I purchased it. However, I'm paying monthly payments for 12 months at 0% interest. How should this computer / monthly payments best be accounted for? I'm assuming it can't be expensed at once since it's paid with monthly payments?
Hello, I recently purchased Quickbooks Advanced Online. The main thing that I need to utilize is the "Bundle" feature in Quickbooks online advanced. My issue is, after hours of talking with QBO customer Service, I was made aware that "bundling" is currently not available yet. I am now stuck in a position that in order for QBO to work for my company I have to have bundling or a "work around" for bundling. Any suggestions?
QB Staff - please look first at my screenshots so you can know what I already know how to do. I called sales and reduced my user licenses for the subscription count from 7 to 6. This is NOT the user logins for the company file. This is the number of users for the QB subscription. Except for me the admin, ALL my user roles have now disappeared in the Intuit Account User Management. I want to add users. I know where to add them as shown in the screenshot. But look at the available roles - only three are shown. Look at the screenshot that describes the roles. Most are not available. Why not?Look at the screenshot for merchant services - the roles for that are still there. What is the problem here?
Quickbooks has changed the invoice template. When I enter a tax exempted customer & take tax off check marked box. Total is correct, but when I either hit Print & Download or Save I get " AN APPLICATION ERROR HAS OCCURED WHILE PROCESSING YOUR REQUEST" Anyone else having this problem?
Need some help if anyone can assist.My Quickbooks Online runs painfully slow. I tried different computers, different browsers, clearing cache and cookies, running incognito mode and went to other places with different wifi networks and nothing seems to work.My issues are when I go to say add an expense or receive a payment, it takes several seconds to load the screen. I went through calls and several chats with Quickbooks online, but they cannot figure it out.Does anyone else have this issue and have a possible solution?

Last week and previously, when I entered a payment and went back to invoices, I could see PAID on paid invoices visually. Now, this week - that stamp is gone. It is there if I go to print the paid invoice - but it was a great visual tool for me seeing it while scrolling through invoices. Can I get that back?
I am using Desktop Pro Plus 2022. I have a couple of questions:Purchase orders - I understand the flow to monitor open PO s. As the inventory is received and moved to a bill, when does the inventory get added to actual on hand? At time of receiving?Inventory - I am working in a construction business. Some of our projects can be several months out. If we are invoicing for a deposit, and the inventory is pulled out at time of invoice, some of this product could be on hold for several months before it is actually pulled to install. Is there a way to hold instead of pull out of stock? If not, physical inventories will never match.Also, our inventory is purchased by the square feet; I would prefer that the inventory on hand is by the piece and not by the square foot. Can that be received that way?I would appreciate any good feedback.

so far I have spoken to 4 agents via phone used the chat link several times and believe it or not they give me a case number and say they are looking into it the last time they told me they would escalate to "Engineering" well agent just now said no such unit.
Who else is receiving this message each and every time you try to match a receipt?? "Something’s not quite right" This has become SUPER frustrating!! I upload all receipts from my phone app and have never had issues in the past. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!

In the Chart of Accounts is there any way to determine what categories have a "View Register"?
Over at least the past two months when I log into Quickbooks online it opens up the Settings page instead of the Dashboard. I tried to figure out why, but can't seem to get it back to normal. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thank you.
I have mistakenly "received payment" twice for the same item. How to delete same please? I have tried "recording the deposit" for both and then deleting the duplicate one but it reappears in the list of items to "record as deposit". I want to delete it from the "Record Deposit" list.
