My accountant has dozens if not hundreds of records under Bills when they are to be matched with income. How do I fix this? Anyway to start from scratch without losing my uploads? The accountants made a mess of an entire year.
I am posting my case here in hopes that maybe someone can help -- I have had no success with phone support and only grown more and more frustrated. I purchased QuickBooks Desktop Pro Standard 2020 on Amazon in May 2020. I made sure that there was no subscription because I want to keep my costs down as I am a single person business with minimal requirements, generating invoices every so often. This was the 3rd version of QuickBooks desktop that I purchased over the years, none of which were subscription-based. I have been comfortable knowing that at some point, I will no longer have access to software updates and/or technical support. I believe this is supposed to be 3 years. I understand that Intuit QuickBooks desktop now REQUIRES a subscription for 2022, however that was absolutely not the case when I purchased the 2020 version. In May of this year, I mysteriously received an email from Intuit thanking me for my order, with line items about subs
I have several companies in desktop. When I am in ONE of them, the whole program crashes if I try to switch companies, close comapny or log off company. When I re-open, it will take me directly back to that company. Usually, after a couple reopenings of the program, it'll go to the home page and I can log into the other companies. Note: when I am in any of the other companies, I CAN switch, close or log off with no issue. Thank you

For some reason when I try to print an estimate it does not work, but invoices print just fine. What do I do?
We have an online store that when a customer places an order OneSaas takes it into Woo Commerce and it creates the sales receipt and sends it to QuickBooks Online using the next available number. At times I have to create a Sales REceipt manually and it generates the next available number. The problem I am having is that if an online order comes in it breaks the integration process because it does not recognize that I used the number and it will use it again. Any Advise?
I've been using QBDT 2022 Premier Plus Contractors Edition since May 2022. I purchased the lessons and jumped in head first to handle hubby's business on the office end. I'm pretty well versed in computers, bookkeeping, etc. but I learn something new every day.My question today is this - Am I committing some kind of huge mistake by recording our purchases (that have been paid for at the time of purchase) by using the "write checks" option? When I do this, obviously there's no AP that is affected by the transaction, because the items are already paid for. Someone in one of these forums suggested I'm doing it wrong and really should enter a bill before entering a payment. BUT, there is no bill to enter.The other side of the coin is I am accomplishing two tasks at once (entering items & recording the payment of said items).I'd like to hear your thoughts and if you think my process is okay or if it's going to sink the ship?

I have a customer account that does not sync with the customer balance. The customer balance in the customer list is correct at $179.50 credit. However, if you add the credits in each of the accounts for that customer, the credit totals to $213.90 giving the customer an additional $34.40 in credit. I ran the utility fix hoping that would fix the error, but it did not. Are there other suggestions I can do to correct this discrepancy.
Our company does Direct Deposit for our employees. The last week in March 2023 we had to print paper checks for all our employees. One employee deposited his main paycheck promptly, but did not deposit his 2nd check (for his savings account) until September 2023. I cannot get this 2nd paycheck to match up to anything. I have changed dates to make it more current, but that didn't work. This is holding up bank reconciliation and I need to get is resolved as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.Deeanna

Is it possible to have one inventory item assigned to two different income accounts? I need to track inventory but be able to track the sales between two different income accounts.I am using Premier Plus Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition 2023

Hey all, Referring to a KB article (https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/customer-topics/3-solutions-for-when-customers-aren-t-receiving-your-emails/01/185621) it references a list of IP addresses to whitelist for receiving email notices (invoices, receipts, etc). I know that QBO is using SendGrid, but it appears that the IP list in the KB article is stale, since I've seen emails from 167.89.82.160 recently which is not in that list. Is there an updated list of IPs to whitelist? I have a customer that can't just whitelist all of SendGrid's IPs and we're having issues getting invoices to them. Thanks!
I am using QBD 2020 Prem.I was hoping that somebody is using SaasAnt Importer to import bank statements into QBD.I tried it with the latest version of the app, the import works, but for deposits the payee and the number is not updated. Account, amount and memo fields are updated correctly.If I go into the deposit itself I see who it was from, but on the bank register the payee is not updated.Everything works for payments.Has anybody had the same problem and did you find a solution for it?
I have quicks books desktop for Mac. somehow it has had an error and will no longer open. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and that did not seem to work. I will switch to quickbooks online. The issue is that I cannot open the desktop version there for I cannot export my date to the online file. I do have my latest backup of my company file. is there a way to open my desktop company file from the online version or simply upload it?Thank youJR
Does QuickBooks Online allow you to have specific invoices for dba's with different company names? When I make company name changes to a custom invoice, it transfers that information to my standard invoice.
Can anyone share a month-end closing task list for QBO Advanced? Thanks! I have a task list I've used with other accounting software, but want to make sure that I list everything for QBO Advanced. Ideally, any tasks that are not QBO specific would be very helpful, such as ensure long-term/short-term liabilities are correct, fixed assets depreciation, accruals and deferrals, etc., in addition to tasks like matching the AP/AR aging reports to the GL control accounts. Can i retrieve the details to a deposit if i only hit the save button???
I have a QBO account I use for three sub-accounts (clients). I can't set up workflows for the parent account, but I can't find a way to use workflows in the client accounts. There isn't even a tab that says "workflow." When I found out about the workflow to automatically send statements to the customers of those clients, I thought it solved my problem of having to spend HOURS on end doing that for each one of the 3 clients. But alas.....My questions are:1. Does anyone know how this can be done?2. Is QBO ever going to figure out this is needed?3. Suggest an app that will do send these statements outside ot QBO?
Windows 11, brand new PC. Not using antivirus that I am aware of.
