When printing checks, the preview show a vendors name one in the "Pay to the Order of" location, and two additional times in the address block just above the memo field.
HELP! I've been a QuickBooks and QuickBooks POS user for over ten years (several versions of both).I use the RDS Server to connect my POS computer (QuickBooks POS v12 r19) to my back office computer (QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2018). All has been fine until this afternoon. My back office computer is getting an "Application with Revoked Certificate" message ("revoked by its certification authority") and will not start. How can I correct this???
How would I notify Intuit about an Error in the last mandatory update for QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 2023 R11? When converting a sales order to an invoice all of the custom field data in the lines gets lost. It also happens when you change the template. I do not think that phone Support would help. They have the "it's not our problem you're doing something wrong attitude".
It's asking me for a 9 digit texas tax account number to confirm my tax info and set up online tax payments. My account number with the Texas Comptroller website is an 11 digit number. I do have a Texas Secretary of State File number that's 9 digits, but when I input that, it gives me the error "Enter a 9-digit valid account number" Please help!
Hello! When I try to export a report to excel, I am only given the option to create a new CSV file. The other options (create a new workbook, update existing, replace existing) are all grayed out. Also, when I try to email a report and send as excel file, it fails and says, "Microsoft Excel could not be opened" I am using Quickbooks 2016 desktop, with Excel 2010. Do I need to link them or something? Yes, I've installed all updates on both software. Thanks!
I have not used QB in a few years -- due to health -- I have the back up file from the last program but not the program is not on my PC. Is there a way to migrate info from the file without the old desktop program.

Hello. Is there an option to keep the on-line app open longer due to inactivity? I am constanly having to log in if I leave the desk for 10-15 minutes.
When entering bills, we put in the Amount Due, QB put that amount on the Expenses Tab When we go down and Enter the account and put the Amount in, the Expense tab amount Doubles And then I switch to the items tab and back to Expenses tab, a 2nd entry shows up out of nowhere. This has only started happening in the last two days.Does anyone know the fix to this? It is happening on at least two of our computers. Thank you
MAC BACKUP!! Wow, first time caller after much searching and googling.... I have about a bazillion backup copies on my mac, located in the "given" file I have it in. File format is: Company Name 2018.qb2019-19-11-03-22h39m25s.dmg Now, each time I exit, it auto backs up. 6.3MB each. Can I go back and say, delete a bunch of these? I only use QB for checking and some reports now and then, but still don't want to lose any of that data. What do you think? Just trying to get rid of duplicates and gain back some space. Can fields be moved in the new invoice layout? For example can the Invoice Details be moved to the upper right corner like in the older layout to consolidate the information on the invoice?Also, can the field headers be renamed? For example the "Note to customer" header be changed to Notes or Details, etc?
How do you change how the company information is displayed on an invoice in the new invoice layout? In the old layout the email address was under the address (perfect), but in the new layout the email address is floating in the middle of nowhere to the right of the company info and it looks like a mistake.
I use QB Pro Online. I'm wondering whether upgrading to Enterprise would allow me to enter lot numbers for each product that is on it, and then later search invoices by one of those lot numbers.
Hi, I would like to learn how to minimize or eliminate the blue bar near the top of the window in QB 2017 desktop. I use a laptop with a rather small screen remotely and would like to have more working space. Maybe there is an option for "Full Screen?" if I knew how to access it. Can anyone help? Attaching a screen shot. Might be good to know what this bar is as well. Could be the current screen resolution is not allowing me to see the end of the bar...
I am a sole member LLC and the only employee in my wedding photography business. I don't know the proper way to pay myself or how to execute that through Quickbooks Online. I used personal funds before my business was registered and have recorded that as an owner's investment. I want to take owner's draw to pay back my personal account now that I have a business account through Quickbooks checking (Green Dot).1. Can I do direct deposit or an e-check?2. I have never had this happen before but all of a sudden I have a lot of transactions that were applied to Uncategorized Income. These transactions were put there by Quickbooks. Here's what is happening. I do not use feeds, I enter the transactions manually. I am using QB Desktop Enterprise Solutions Professional. I'm manually entering transactions from a credit card using the "enter credit card transactions". I put in who the transaction was made out to and then go down and in the drop down menu (or automatically) I enter the category the transaction is to be charged to. Then I hit enter twice to Post it to QB. Just as the screen is closing, I see that QB has entered something on the bottom of the ledger sheet. It's a post to uncategorized income and when I run the P&L, yep there it is a bunch (not all) of the transactions I just entered were entered into my postings but QB also added it's two cents. The purchase orders are not integrating from DecoNetwork to Quickbooks Online. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this and how they fixed it.
Help! When I enter a bill, my amount in the expense line is doubling. I will put an amount in the top portion and when I get to the expense tab it automatically doubles when I put the account number in it. Before I have been able to scroll down several lines and find a duplicate entry (that I never put) but now it's not so easy. I am using QB Desktop Pro Plus 2022. This is driving me crazy! I have always paid and filed forms by e-filing through QB. I got the message my 10 digit PIN didn't match my EIN. So I mailed the 941 form and requested a new PIN. After 6 months I called the IRS and found out it was returned undeliverable. Well my address is still the same I get mail everyday. So now the IRS is telling me I have to register for a new PIN through my software. Can someone give me the steps to complete this process please?
