Hi, We'll be setting up a few new companies in QB desktop premier (new Trusts). We'll be using a lot of similiar information from the current chart of accounts. Can I copy the current chart of accounts and import it to the new company? If yes, how do I do this? Would prefer a regular user in plain english answer. What about importing vendor information, etc? This would save a ton of time. Thank you!
I needed to call QB support today, couldn't get Glance to work, so they insisted we're having a network problem. However, I tried it on multiple PCs and 2 physically separate offices and they are all doing the same thing - Glance guest 4.17 downloads and installs, then nothing happens. I can find it under program files, but if I try to just run it or run as administrator nothing happens. Nothing in the task manager, nothing logged in the application log, as if it didn't really happen. Is it some Windows update? Or should I try a different version of Glance guest? Appreciate any help

Hi!I am trying to generate Access token via Postman but getting the error message saying, 'App didn't connect, try again later'. I am following this Postman guide for quickbooks: Set up and test queries in Postman (intuit.com). It was working fine the first day I tried this but stopped working from next day. I still verified all my settings to be sure and it seems fine to me. I am not sure what the issue is. We need help ASAP as this is blocker for us. Also is there any other way to do this?
A customer's invoice totals $12,050. They have 11,650 in prepaid money, which leaves a $400 balance due. I deducted the $11,650 on the invoice to show this new balance. I then created a journal entry for this amount. Did I do this correctly? Also, where do I find a list of money that currently sits in our prepaid account, so that I can compare it to my manual spreadsheet? Thanks!
EVERY time I try to receive a payment, check merchant service deposits, or a few other things, I get a box: Sometimes, I get these 2 or 3 times in a row.How do I disable the message? And I don't care about Level 3 data (I don't accept credit cards). Oh, and the Tell me more link goes to a dead page.
I just migrated my 2019 desktop pro over to QB online. I have connected my bank account and gone through the process to categorize and accept everything. My main problem at the moment is the duplicate deposit entries. The bank is bringing my deposits over as Gross Trucking Income. I have invoices out there and have gone in to accept payments which is then posted as a deposit to Accounts Receivable. So now I have duplicates showing up in my bank register. My past transactions that have cleared the bank show "Accounts Receivable" as the account posted to, so I went in and deleted the duplicate entries that had "Gross Trucking Income " as the account posted to. I still can't get my accounts to reconcile
QB Online has been down for 12 hrs! WTF!!! Can not load account registers, these people suck bad. Highjack customers to force them to the online platform and now what, leave our business crippled!!

Hello! We have a large pool of contractors who perform tasks and then send their invoices in for processing. We set up a dedicated email inbox for them to send the invoices - and then an assigned person accesses the inbox and processes these invoices as they come in. Now we are adding a second person working part time, and we'd like to keep track of who did what. Is there perhaps an extension for Quickbooks which would capture these invoices as they are submitted and then show what needs to be processed. Then each of these two people could work on the invoices without stepping on each others' toes. Thank you.
I have created bundles in my inventory; however, when I try to record transaction with the bundles, I get the following error Enter an amount of zero for bundled line items. I see no way to go over ride the quantity amounts for bundles. I assumed it pulled the items and created the bundles as I recorded transaction I cannot find anyone at Intuit that can help me resolve this issue
Hi team!I would like to know how can I add a custom field in Bills and Journal Entries to categorize expenses?I need this to map the expenses in Quickbooks with the categories that my company uses for the expenses in the cashflow. For what I have seen the option that best fist my need is the “Tags” option but I have the following issues with that option:1. There’s no option for setting a tag to each line in the document, the whole document would have the same tag. But we have cases in which a bill contains more than one category (tag).2. The tag option is not visible in the journal entry template, we would need the tag option visible in this document type as my company registers expenses not only in bills but also in journal entries.3. The biggest issue with the tag option is that in the customization of general ledger there’s not an option for including the “Tag” option in the general ledger, that way we wouldn’t be able to have a report by Tags. I have created inventory items, with an initial quantity of zero, start date of July 1, 2023. These items appear on my Products and Services list. But when I try to enter either a PO or customer invoice and select these products, they do not appear, and QB online opens the add inventory sidebar. I have tried logging in to QB Online in an incognito window, but the problem persists. I'm not a new user to QB, and have added inventory items many times in the past. This is a new problem.
I keep getting this popup when trying to receive a customer payment. I try to save and close and it pops up like 10 times before it will record the transaction.
I need to start a new company file due to the current working file being too large and having some corrupt data. I have 9 employees working within the current company file.
