I am on QBO Plus, but I cannot add an inventory item to products, neither change an existing product to inventory. I called two QB experts each for 1h, first one told me it is my account issue, ask me to change my primary account, second one says if I use Quickbook Commerce, I won't be able to manage inventory in my QBO. I don't think they understand the problem. Did anyone encounter this before?
Just checking in.I am getting ready to upgrade to macOS Ventura 13.4.1 in the next few of days.Can anyone at Intuit please confirm that Quickbooks Desktop for Mac 2021 is now fully compatible with macOS Ventura 13.4.1? What's the latest information as of July 5th 2023?The information I found on the Intuit website is not very clear.Thank you!
I have QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2020 (which I use only for personal finances) and it frequently tells me I haven't logged in to my QuickBooks account in a number of days (71, 90 etc), which is not true, and wants me to login again. Is there a way to stop this, or at least to have it recognize and record when I do comply and login? It asks me every couple of weeks or so. Thanks.
Since we are being forced to switch from QB2020 desktop for mac (the most recent update blocks the ability to manually import a qbo file) I need to explore the functionality of QB online simple start. If I sign up for Simple Start,1) will I be able to import my current QB2020 desktop for mac files into it?2) will I be able to download transactions directly from my bank? If not, will I be able to manually import a qbo file downloaded to my hard drive into Simple Start?3) Same question with Credit Card transactions.
Hello all Wondering if anyone has some insight on this. Over the years I have used QBD (since 2005 and every year's program through 2023) I've noticed that when I make a journal entry to bill costs to a client, the item on the first line of the JE or AJE, even when checked as billable, often doesn't show up on the unbilled costs list. Additionally, it is not unusual for a billed item to remain on the unbilled costs list. And here's another one. When I enter the name of one specific client, the billable box disappears. If I replace an other client's name with this client, and the line was previously noted as billable, the billable box disappears! I am unaware of any settings that would be unique to a specific client preventing adding billable expenses via a JE . BTW, the JE issue is only if I use a JE. If it is billed as incurred, through my CC or cash, it works. Thanks for any comments on this.
Is Quickbooks Desktop for Mac 2021 compatible with macOS Ventura 13.0? Or, do I need to wait to update my operating system until updates are released for QB? Please advise. Thank you.
I uploaded CSV files and now all bank transactions look like deposits- Can I change them to be withdraws without uploading them all over again?
Our invoice numbers are jumping around and I have to create a fake invoice with a proper invoice number and save it then delete it to get the "auto" invoice number back on track. We get off-track because members of our team change an invoice number intentionally or accidentally and then the new sequence restarts from that number. Is there a way to allow over-rides for individual invoices or estimates, for example, but resumes the next number in the primary sequence with the invoice that follows? For example if our invoice numbers are sequentially 567, 568, 569 but one of our team members saves an invoice as 570s because they want to label that one differently, then the next invoice number is 571s, 572s, etc. until we save a dummy invoice as 573, then delete it and the following invoice will auto-populate as 574. So, we skipped one but we are back on track with auto-sequential invoice numbers. Is it possible to set the program so that if someone saves a random invoice num
I started a new business in QB 21 for Mac and the checks numbers are not auto filling the screen like in my other business. In the check number it says "to print" and it can't be changed. I found an icon at the bottom that will switch it to check numbers and then I can enter in a number but it switches back on the next check. I checked my check settings and they are the same for both businesses.
I recently contacted quickbooks for support. I had a problem with a negative amount in my payroll tax folder and when I clicked on it, it told me to contact support. So I did, & the person on the line said I had a corrupted file and it would cost $999US annually for the fix?!? Wth!! It’s quickbooks online, all my data is stored with quickbooks.....so I’m not sure how the heck I had a corrupted file....let alone have to pay that kind of money considering the amount of money I pay every month!! So.....this is my question-was this a scam or do they literally expect a person to pay that amount of money for a repair?!?
Where can I buy a license for a desktop version no longer supported by Intuit? Thinking the 2020 version.
QB should remove the upgrade pop up window, even though it gives the choice of "maybe later" (which does nothing) or "more info". Even if more info is clicked it does not go away after. I paid for a current desktop subscription, and I should be able to access and use all features without that box in the way, and without having to minimize QB to do so!!
I recorded transactions as a credit credit credit instead of a expense. DO I have to void all and start again or is there a way to change them?
Just recently the alignment on our invoices pages have changed. If we print a sample, it is normal but our actual invoices are like the attached photo. Anyway of getting this change back? Printing estimates is normal so we are not sure why this has all of sudden started to happen to our invoices.
On the online system, it doesn't seem to have the option. I have taken it out of the check, but do not see where I can pay the company that it should go to.
When I first started entering purchases of beading supplies, I put the manufacturer's number in both the Item Name and Manufacturer Part Number. Now I have far too many items and find it cumbersome to list each item I use in a build. It would be great if I were just entering the number of beads and findings. Is there a way to change all of the old Item Names to either Beads or Findings without changing anything like the cost of purchase, etc? When I tried to change the Item Name on an individual item, it asked if I wanted to merge and since I'm not sure what happens in the case, I cancelled it. I'd appreciate any pointers on how I can make this happen without affecting anything in QB except the Item Name. Thanks!

For whatever reason our Azure Virtual Desktops (Windows 10 Multisession hosts) get this Denied Access error on Accounts.intuit.com no matter what account we try on any browser, on any host. The hosts are behind an Azure Firewall but we're seeing nothing blocked on our end and we're catching a 401 error with a 4225 message - ACCESS DENIED. Outside the AVD platform it works fine.
I download a statement for one of my clients and upload it though the bank feeds and I like to use the rules because it makes my work easier and faster, however, trying to create new rules or edit old rules is ridiculously slow. I have plenty of RAM and storage available so that can't be an issue. Is there anything I can do to speed it up?

Last year I was forced into the Annual Renewal cycle for Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus. Believe I purchased the subscription at Sam's Club and got three free months for 15 months total. Does anyone know if Sam's / Costco / Etc offer the 15 month renewal anymore? What is my most cost effective QuickBooks Desktop renewal path? I only use the basics, no billing, but I do have it synced to my bank.
