Why after converting an estimate to an invoice do some of my estimates remain as either accepted or pending status. Others done the same way go to closed status. I believe we are doing it the same way all the time but maybe something odd is causing this issue. Any thoughts?

With all the people using VRBO and AirBnB these days I'm hugely disappointed with Quickbooks inability to allow quick set up for a short term vacation rental business. I'm reading about a million work-arounds that people are using and it's incredibly time consuming and confusing. I have an asset, it depreciates, I collect rental income, I have expenses to run the house. It's not that complicated. Why hasn't Quickbooks just created a business template for this? They have one for renting literally every other type of asset.
I received a credit from USPO for a bill that was paid in the previous month. Can you assist me on entering a refund/credit and how to reconcile on the month end? Hoping someone can help. I pay per diems in cash to non-employees. For example, when I have a job with a client and a number of people travel, I pay per diems to clients and independent contractors which are all expensed back to the client. How do I record these since the per diems are not being paid to employees? Thank you

In Canada businesses are able to charge 2.4% processing surcharge, for credit card payments. I have it noted on my invoice that this will be applied, however, I'm hoping it can be applied automatically when someone chooses to use that option for payment. So that I don't have to rewrite the invoices when someone chooses to do so. I typically leave the credit card option off, so that they have to ask if they want to pay by credit card. This way I could just leave it on and they can decide at the time of sale.

Been using multi currency for a few years. Is it possible to chnage the accounts used when the home currency adjustment feature is executed. If not would the best approach be to used change the journal entry once it is posted. Any long term impacts if this is done?
Create a portable company file quickbooks mac 2019 I can not update QB on my mac to the newest version because I am still running Catalina OS. I can't upgrade to the latest Mac OS until I upgrade my QB. It's a catch 22. Therefor, I am trying to create a portable company file so that I can upgrade my QB and have a copy incase something happens and I can not get into QB, I can import a complete file so I do not loose anything. I am unable to find instructions for Mac 2019 QB desktop version. Everything is for PC and or newer versions. When I call in, the people in India are of no help.
We just migrated from QuickBooks Desktop Manufacturing Premier to the QuickBooks Online Advance. We need a way to show backorders on our invoices and packing slips. Could you please tell me how this can be done. If there is no way with QuickBooks to make this happen, is there a specific app anyone has worked with that the backorders show? This has been extremely frustrating.
Can a deleted expense be viewed or recovered?
Currently my company uses QuickBooks to create invoices for work tickets (sales orders) we create for clients. Some clients pay a monthly fee that covers the majority of the work we do for them. Right now we are creating an invoice as normal. Then we go to the next line and mark it as covered. This creates a zero dollar invoice.I was wondering if anyone has a better way of doing this? QB Support says too bad, they're not able to fix the problem. This means I have to contact them every time I start an employee.Terrible product.
In QBO, there is obviously the date field for an item. But can there be a column field on the invoice for the time the service was performed for that line item? Seems like an important thing to have for a service business.
At one time there was a way to test drive quickbooks desktop through a URL that logged into a test machine at Intuit. It was a great sandbox to test transaction ideas, but I can't not find that URL anywhere. I tried the link from the Quickbooks learn-support pages, but clicking the test drive quickbooks desktop shortcut is a dead end. If someone has a weblink they could share, please reply. Thank you.

I have QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and I was wanting to clean up the Time & Expense section on the Income Tracker without affecting my Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet. The previous manager did not bill off of the time and expense and most of them have bill already invoiced out and paid.
I have QuickBooks Premier 2019 and the support has ended for it. I'm fine with that since I've never used any of those support options anyway. How do I turn off the "Critical alert, support has ended...." notification at the bottom left of the screen, as shown in the picture. This version of QB does what I want it to do and I have no plans to upgrade soon. I'm just a tiny in-home business and don't need the extra expenses of the monthly or yearly subscriptions.
