We have two separate bank accounts; one for the property management co. and the other a trust account holding the funds for the property owners. The trust fund account receives income from each rental property and pays the expenses related to each property. What are QBO customer service hours to talk to someone over the phone and so screen share? Are they available on the weekends? I need to go over some things and its hard for me to do that when working during the day because of people coming in and out of my office.Thank you.
I invoice a customer for services. I also purchase a product from that customer that is not related to services that customer is billed for. They send me an invoice for that product. When the customer pays my invoice they deduct the amount for the product I purchased(the amount of this invoice I received from them). Example: Customer B invoice #10 $500 Vendor B Bill #A2 $300when I receive check from Customer B it will be for $200 paying invoice #10 with bill #A2 already deductedHow do I mark this invoice paid and mark the bill paid?
Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions - 21.0 Does anyone have any links to description of Quickbooks error codes (what they are, how to fix)? Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, there were these things called software manuals that went into great detail about the functionality of the product and gave detailed descriptions of things such as error codes. I've searched the Quickbooks site, Quickbooks Help, and Google all to no avail. Apparently "Error codes" or "Error code list" is too much for Intuit's search to comprehend. Same for "Error 165" or "Error 292". I did a Verify/Rebuild and saw a number of errors on our Rebuild report. "See Online Article" next to the error types sends one to a page: "Small Business Answers and Information has moved"Clicking the next link to go to the next location takes one to a generic support page. I am relatively new to QB online, but have used it for a few months and have done all my entries through the months. I'm going in again to add January entries and I cannot find the entire listing. I have gone to Chart of Accounts, then to the line showing for that bank account, and when I click on it only a few entries, not nearly all o them, come up. The b alnce showing is correct vut the entries are very liited.

When I’m categorizing receipts, I am immediately sent back to the dashboard after each one. How do I stop this?!?
I am using QB2016, Windows 10 here. Something occurred last week, not sure what, but suddenly the fonts on screen changed dramatically. The font in the windows looks different than previously and the main issues are some things are too small, or too large. For example, in the Pay Bills window, the checkboxes no longer line up with each bill; some of the labeling in the window is far small than others, and this is in the same window! The popup calendar window is virtually unreadable no matter what; all of the date numbers crash together, overlapping slightly. There are myriad other issues like this thruout the application.I tried resetting the display sizing, but that changes everything for every application and QB is the only one affected by this, so it's the only one I desire to change. I also tried changing the display settings by right-clicking the QB icon and changing things under the Advanced tab. But then everything became too huge.&
I just downloaded banking transactions into the wrong account, how can I delete them?They are currently unmatched, waiting to be added to the register. I'd like to delete the whole batch of transactions without adding them all to the register.I am currently in classic mode in the banking feed center preferences.
I used to be able to do that before QB added the new sales tax tab. I'd rather turn back to the old version so I can batch invoice again.
Hello,I'm trying to reconcile the transactions in my credit card register. I have reviewed the ending balance for each month within the register and it matches the credit card statement, however when I click on the reconcile button, the balance is not reconciling. I have checked the edit window to ensure beginning and ending balances are correct. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

We are a non-profit and withdrew cash from our bank account to have starting change in our cash box for concession sales. When our event was over, it was deposited back into our bank account, along with the cash sales. What kind of account do I set up for the cash withdrawal so I can tie it to the bank transaction? This account will ultimately always go back to a zero balance after any event when we deposit it back.
I'm running Desktop Pro 2016 on Windows 10 and really don't have a need to upgrade Quickbooks at this time. I would like to, however, upgrade to Windows 11. Has anyone had success in running an older version of Quickbooks on Windows 11? Many thanks
I made a mistake in the Receive Payments section. My invoice was for $250 but the customer only paid $215 and I mistakenly clicked on it as being paid the $250. I discovered this when I went to Record Deposits and the number didn't match with the actual deposit. So I didn't record the deposit and went back to Receive Payments but now I can't undo the payment. I don't care about the underpayment and just want to record it as receiving the $215 and call it good so it matches the actual deposit. What do I do?
We sometimes create invoices that are not yet ready for sending out to the customer. The problem here is that in some instances, we end up creating duplicates of the same invoices and send out one without realizing we have a second one that was a draft of the one sent out. Ultimately we end up with 2 invoices showing up on the A/R report that shows one that was sent and one that is actually a duplicate "in progress" draft invoice. We'd like to be able to mark our invoices that are not sent yet as DRAFT so they don't show up on A/R reports. Can this be done? Ultimately when the draft invoice is sent out, it becomes an actual invoice and only one will show up on a report. In essence, we'd like to see invoices treated like emails. If you create an email and don't send it, it becomes a draft email. It stays that way until it is sent, which then takes it out of draft mode and puts it in the Sent mail. This is what I'd like to do with invoices. Same concept. Invoices stay as drafts unti
This client does not have QBO Accountant, so I can't undo the rec. Previous accountant reconciled to an incorrect ending balance (I'm not really sure where she got that number, but it's not on any bank statement). I can only find how to fix incorrect beginning balances or restore a previously correct rec.
Hello, we have created a new company and want to import our chart of accounts from the old company. When I go to gear icon/export data/ (all dates are chosen) lists/ the chart of accounts is not an option. All I get is customers, vendors, and employees. How do I access the export for the chart of accounts? Thanks.
Client mistakenly did a backup last week which somehow condensed all of the 2024 work- nothing is on the bank registers . There isn't a recent backup to restore - I learned he does not do regular backups . He wants to move to QBO - would the migration from QBDT include the condensed 2024 work? what is the best solution to get this work back or is entering manually the only way?
so we have QB Enterprise 2023 on desktop PC's and we are having problems with one of the computers (slave) not connecting with the server (mine). we are connected through a router/modem hardwired and the slave computer keeps getting a message saying to have the server be in multi user mode - which it always is. Sometimes we have to shut down both computers then it (slave) will connect, we have also tried putting my QB in single user mode for a few minutes then change back to multi user mode, then the slave will connect????? any ideas on why the slave keeps losing connection with the server??? thank you in advance for any advice.
If you had an invoice of $105.40 and you thought you paid correctly.Later, you attempted to match and realized you accidentally paid $105.50. It is $.010 overpayment.After manually matched the original invoice of $105.40, there is still $0.10 that I don't know how to deal with it.I thought it may be matched to Bill with -$0.10 but it doesn't let me enter less than 0 value so that doesn't work. I entered vendor credit and tried to match with it but it doesn't show up in the matching choice.Is it only journal entry option left? I'm not as familiar to deal with JE. For this particular case, how should I correct it?
